Yes, there's a Tamagotchi anime that debuted in Japan in December.
It's called Saa! Iko Tamagotchi.

Each episode is about 2 and a half minutes long. They're all short, but sweet. ^_^

Well, they've got a newer anime simply called Tamagotchi! and each episode is half an hour. There are 200 Japanese episodes, and 26 are in English. How ever, it's currently only in Australia so all you Americans will just have to wait. (I'm in Australia so I have watched each ep six times at 5:30am.)
