Bandai Entertainment, an American distributor of anime, has gotten the rights to dub the film (in other words, they could make an English version soon).

Excuse me sir but its Tanpopo and not Tampopo and its not mamatchi but its mametchi. The movie was great though, my mom bought one while we were in Japan.
