The male glanced briefly toward Alexander's turned back. He chuckled and stepped closerto her. " I can share. " he teased wrapping a hand around her waist. "Come on dollface don't be shy, there's no need to be such a priss baby." he was definitely not shy about getting up close and personal. That, and the fact that he probably had multiple kinds of drugs in his system made him feel the need to try and pick up girls off the street.

"I um... well, I... sir, please let me go. I really don't want any trouble," she squeaked, trying to get as far away from him as she could. "I... I don't want to hurt you or anything. You'd better stay back! I took a self defense class." So she was bluffing a little bit. Or maybe a lot. But she really wanted that guy to quit bothering her. She had to figure out something. If he got too close, she would have to try and punch him, or maybe kick him where it hurts. Anything to keep herself safe.

The strange male looked irritated. He made a face and let go of her. His hand automatically and probably instinctly reach up to his waist band of his pants under his jacket.

Alexander appeared behind Sinead, he placed his hands on her shoulders and pulled her away. " Okay, let's not get shot. " he said through as if it were a happily made suggestion. He pushed her a bit toward the buildig, his hands tensing on her. He paused an turne his head " Hi Max." he said it almost as if he had been expecting the males actions like it were a normal greeting. Once inside he let go of Sinead. " I knew something was wrong, " He said " It was quiet, for like a whole two minutes. " he smirked a bit at her.

"You sure you don't want to go home?" Alexander offered.

"I could have held my own. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm completely defenseless... of course the gun did make a big difference...." She sighed and pulled away from Alexander instinctively, almost seeming to flinch at his touch. "Um... but... thanks for helping me, I suppose." She went and sat down, looking out the window, keeping her gaze averted from his. "So... you knew that guy out there? He seems like an... interesting person."

Alexande rolled his eyes at her. " It's not 'cuz you're a girl. It's because you have no clue how to handle yourself out here. Lemme guess first you acted scared and probably tried pleading with him an then when that failed decided to try and act threatening. That kind of stuff doesn't work. A tip for next time, start off being the controlling b'tch I've had to deal with, put 'em in their place. Guys around here aren't really used to that, especially not from girls like you. " Alexander sat down on the stairs. He nodded. "Yeah... To his defense, when he's not stoned out of his mind he's usually not that bad. "

"No wonder he smelled so terrible. Seriously, he smelled like garbage mixed with... okay, I don't even want to go any further than that," she said, looking over at him and smirking. "And, that stuff about me... is it that obvious?" She ruffled her hair and gave a sigh. "I can hold my own. I've done it before. But I prefer to not use violence as a first resort. I'm... I'm not that kind of person! I'm a nice girl!"

"Very obvious. " Alexander told her. Most people would have been polite and told her that no it wasn't too obvious to make her feel slightly better. He couldn't help but laugh at her retort of being a nice girl. " Okay, if that's what you wanna tell yourself, s'not what I'd go with but sure, whatever helps you sleep at night. " He did find it hard to believe what she had said about holding her own. He couldn't see her actually 'holding her own' for any actual length of time, it made him want to actually see her try it.

Sinead rolled her eyes and folded her hands in her lap, ducking her head with frustration. "I never spoke a word to you until today. You don't know if I'm nice or not. Besides, it was your fault for provoking me! I know you think I'm a b****, but you were acting just as bad." She looked out the window, her face turning red with anger. "Why are you such a child..." She murmured to herself, shaking her head. "I swear, you're not as charming or funny as you think you are."

"Yes, because I'm the child." Alexander rolled his eyes. This girl definitely got under his skin. He could have come up with a response to her comment and retored but by the time she said it he was already half way up the first little segment of stairs. He climbed up to the square platform and bounded up to the next one, taking the stairs in stride. He was happy to be rid of her, he figured if he had to spend another second of their little one-on-one time with her one of them would end up dead. His apartment was on the second of four floors and he was only at the first, however he was used to taking these stairs as they were the only way of getting to and from his apartment so it didn't really bother him.

Sinead noticed that he was leaving her behind, and so she followed him quickly, unnerved by the sight of the depravity around her. She cautiously took a few steps, then darted up after him. "W-wait for me!" She stammered, not able to take too many steps at once because of her shorter legs. She finally managed to catch up and said, "You can't just leave me like that! Seriously, what the heck!?" She glowered at him, but then gave a sigh.

Alexander ignored her shouting an grumbling at him from behind him. When they got to the second floor on the play form there was a door with a small two above the door. The sign itself was hung on slightly crooked and so much so that it was almost turned to a complete 90 degrees. Alexander pushed through the door into tue hallway. It was not a fancy hallway by any means. It was painted a pale cream color and had a plain earth colored carpet and the walls were bare aside from the rare painting hung on the wall. When they reached a door numbered with a '209' above the peep hole Alexander pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. His apartment was small. A 1.5 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment with a small living room area and a decent sized eat in kitchen though he rarely used it. Being a teenage male living on his own the apartment looked only nearly as bad one might expect it to. The kitchen sink had a pile of dishes in it, the floors had some dustbunnies in the corners and there were jackets and other clothing lying around. It was decently cleaned but it was just as if some of the chores your parents always had to force you to do lacked completion. Alexander tossed his jacket over the edge of an armchair.

Sinead looked at the dishes and general mess and gave a sigh, going over to the sink and filling it with water and soap. She started scrubbing the dishes, cleaning them off meticulously. "I don't see how you can live like this... clutter, disorganization...." She sighed and shook her head, continuing her "chore". At the same time, she went and picked up some clothes, putting them in a pile at the side of the room. She went back to the sink to finish the dishes, humming softly.

Alexander raised his eyebrow at her when she walked into the kitchen. This was becoming just plain weird now. He never really brought strangers over unless he was planning on getting laid. He went over to the sink and pulled Sinead away. "Okay, seriously stop. It's creepy. Stop cleaning, it's really weird. Hey! Can you please stay the hell out of sh't." he complained. It felt extremely uncomfortable having a stranger going through his apartment, and for some reason it was worse because it was Sinead. Next thing you know she'd be trying to do his laundry and clean uphis bedroom. That was a thought Alexander preferred to keep out of his mind. He didn't really real like explaining why there was probably a small collection of women's clothing and accessories scattered through out his living room and bedroom.

"No. No way. Nobody should live like this. Nobody," she reprimanded him, slapping his hand away and starting to put the dishes away. "Just... let me do my own thing, okay? Seriously. Do the girls you bring home like this?" Despite nobody really knowing about her, she pretty much knew everything about everyone. Being more of a listener than a talker let her in on a lot of gossip, and a lot of secrets. At the same time, nobody really had any dirt on her.

Alexander groaned loudly in protest.

" That, That is none of your business. And for your information it's not normally this bad. I've just been... busy this week. " He snapped. He wasn't really lyig either, sure there were usually a few undone dirty dishes and a few clothes thrown around a bit but it had never been this cluttered and messy. When she finished putting awaythe last dish he closed the cupboard. "Are you done now?" he demanded in a very grumpy tone.

"As if," she said, taking his laundry and stacking and folding it. "Well, it sure seems like it's everyone's business, really. I mean, you don't try to hide it, do you?" She looked over at him and raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Calm down, hm?" She went to put the laundry in the washing machine, then started it up. She then got herself a glass of water and sipped from it delicately. "Busy, huh?" She averted her gaze with a sigh. "No offense-- no, maybe you're allowed to take offense-- but I think everyone can have a good life, if they try for it. You could too, if you actually applied yourself."

Alexander was about ready to snap at this point. "what the hell is that supposed to mean?" He inquired starting to get ticked off. At this point he ha pretty much given up on the whole cleaning debate in the realization that no matter what he said she would continue to what she wanted so further protest was moot. He forced a fake chuckle at her who applying himself thing. "God you ate so fuxking annoying. You think you are so much better than everyone else. You truly do think you know everything don't you? Like honestly, go **** yourself. " he was seriously getting tired of her higher than thou attitude and her little 'helpful suggestions'

"I'm not better than anybody else. I just notice things in a different way. You don't have to just barely get by. You could do something better. You have the potential. You just don't have the will power. And um, it's no secret you sleep around with anything that has a v***** and a pulse. You're a heart breaker, and a total womanizer. And no, I don't think I'm better than anyone! You shouldn't be so defensive when someone offers you help! UGH!" She folded some clean laundry that was just laying around, then tossed it at him.

"The pulse is optional. " Alexander retorted, trying to use humor to avoid the other statements. "At least I can get some. NO ONE would want to sleep with you. " he glowered at her when he was smacked in the face and the tee shirt bounced off into his lap.

The fact that she liked to point her finger at him all the time and tell him how to improve himself drove him nuts. " And you know what I get by just fine. And you don't offer to help, you try and take over, you don't help anyone but yourself.

"You don't know anything! Sex isn't all that matters. Have you ever thought that maybe there should be emotion involved before you bring some girl to your bed?" She stared him straight in the eye, becoming less afraid of him. "Getting by. Huh. Is that how you want to look back on your life? On your deathbed, do you want to say, "Hm... I guess my life was okay. I mean, I just got by."? Honestly, someone's got to tell you like it is. And I don't care if you hate me for it."
