Shelly had been walking for what seemed like days before she finally gave into her aching legs and sat down. She had been following the stars as her Aunt Castaway had instructed her to but now she wasn't quite sure in which direction she was going in. Shelly lay her head on the crunchy fall leaves and tried to remember something about her past that could give her hope. But instead of good memories coming to mind, she could only remember the horrible ones.

A time when she was only a pup flashed through her memory. Her and her mother were going somewhere. They were making their way through a clearing. Then she could see a male; her father. They were giving her over to her Aunt Castaway. She could see them walking away, leaving her. Why were they leaving her? She wanted to call out to them, tell them not to leave her, but she knew it was too late.

Not really knowing what she was doing, Shelly let out a loud howl. "Why?" She called out, as if her mother and father's spirits were still floating above the earth and they could hear her. Letting out another long, loud howl, Shelly hoped that somebody, whether near or far, would hear her and come to her rescue.

Fang ran up and saw his sister on the ground! "Chloe!" "He looked at Svet. "She's not faking. This has only happened once before, when I was still a little pup. She got really stressed and she passed out. Please help her," he pleaded to Aire, genuinely scared for his sister.

Shelly thought she heard something. Maybe she was just imagining it, but she wouldn't take the chance. She slowly and achingly got up and followed the voice. She could see a clearing she didn't see before. Was it possible? Could there actually be somebody there that could help her? Would they be willing t accept her? Shelly stepped out into the large clearing.

Dawn's pelt flared up in alarm as a soft voice pricked her senses. She wasn't exactly sure she heard the sole word that she thought was howled, but, as she sniffed in, she could easily detect a foreign scent in the air. "Stay here with Chloe. There's something or someone I need to take care of." And with that simple sentence, she bounded off to the right, in the direction her instincts were urking her to go. After running for a few tiresome moments, she came to a strange, lone wolf panting in a small clearing of the forest, whining something along the lines of "why". As far as Dawn knew, this she-wolf was on her new pack's territory, therefore, she had the right to confront the wolf.

"What's your business here?" She growled, allowing her vicious alpha-female behavior to return. "You're on Silver Mist Pack's territory, therefore, you're under my, and the alpha-female of this pack's command." A growl grew in the back of her throat and her white tail twitched back and forth ferociously.

OOC: Oops we totally posted at the same time xD lol, so...Dawn's outside the camp now? o.o

"Okay," he replied. "Something's wrong with Chloe," he said.

She suddenly stirred. "Fang . . .?" she asked. She looked up to see Svetlana and Aire standing nearby, looking somewhat agitated. "What happened?"

"You fainted. Don't you remember?" Fang asked, breathing a sigh of relief.

Chloe shook her head in confusion. "No. The only thing I remember is saying good morning to everyone." Her ears flattened up against her head in embarrassment. She rose to her feet. "What is this on my paw," Chloe asked, sniffing it. Her face scrunched up. "It smells odd. But my paw feels a little better. Did you do this?" she asked looking at Aire.

Shelly rose in alarm as a strange she-solve approached her. Answering her question, Shelly whispered shyly, "I...I was... I was looking for a new... a new pack to stay in..." Shelly lowered her head a little at the she-wolves snarling growl.

Dawn sat back on her hind-legs, still keeping her spine erect and her head higher than the lone she-wolf's, willing to reason with her coldness but not completely turn friendly; as that was not the way she'd raised her pack before the fire. "I am Dawn, the deputy, I suppose would be my rank's name. And you are?" As she asked this, her icy blue eyes slowly but surely followed Shelly's actions, studying her.

"My name's Shellia. But you can call me Shelly." Shelly looked at the ground, totally noticing that this she-wolve, Dawn was watching her every move.

"I don't mean to scare you." Dawn's words were soft and gentle, yet her posture portrayed otherwise. But hey, she could only work on one thing at a time; plus, she didn't want to completely go soft, it was always safer to be untrusting. "Chloe, the alpha, has instructed me to welcome you into our pack. So, you can follow me to the camp, if you'd still like to join." She couldn't help but notice that Shelly was in the same, horrid condition she had been in yesterday when Dawn'd first arrived; except soot was at an absence on Shelly, when it was all over Dawn's strange, completely white fur.

"Oh! Do you mean it? You'd let me join your pack?" Shelly bounced to her feet and twirled with excitement, but soon stopped, feeling ashamed. "Sorry.I didn't mean to act so childish." Shelly cleared her throat. "I would love to join your pack. It would be in all my wishes to join your pack."

Dawn stiffled her snort at Shelly's strange dance-like actions, yet secrety envied her ability to act without too much embarrassment. "Yes, I'll bring you to come meet Chloe; if she's feeling well." She started walking towards the camp, which wasn't very far away at all; making sure she was a full body's length ahead of Shelly, for control purposes. "So, what happened to you?" Sure, it was a blunt question, but Dawn, having had a horrible past, felt she was able to ask the new wolf this. Plus, it was a necessary question.

"Well," Chloe said brightly as she rose to her paws. "I'm okay now." She looked at Aire and Svetlana sitting close together and secretly thought that they would make a very cute couple. "Hope you all are doing okay," she said sweetly. With that, she walked away, not remembering what all had occurred just a few moments ago. She suddenly smelled an unfamiliar wolf and trotted over to where Dawn and the new wolf were standing.

Shelly was startled by Dawn's question. "I uh..." Shelly struggled for the right words. "I... My.my parents..." Shelly sucked in a long, deep breath and slowly let it out. "All I remember is my parents leaving me with my Aunt Castaway." Shelly paused. "I've lived with her until... my Aunt passed away." Shelly could feel emotions getting caught in her throat.

Dawn bowed her head slightly to Chloe, yet kept everything else about her body straightened. "I'm sorry; my parents were attacked by five wolves from their own pack and died. Then, my pack was seperated by a forest fire, and I don't believe there are any survivors. So I know how it feels." She managed to get out before turning and introducing Shelly to Chloe, "Chloe, this is Shelly, a new wolf I found around the premesis. She would like to join our pack."

Shelly felt sorry for Dawn, but wanting to make a good impression on Cloe, she straightened herself and looked hopefully at Cloe.

"Welcome to Silver Mist Shelly," Chloe said with a slight bow, keeping her head higher than the she-wolf's. "Thank you Dawn," she said. "So I have noticed that you and Fang have been talking a lot lately. He needs a good friend. I can tell he gets lonely sometimes." Chloe looked at Shelly. "That is my brother over there," she said motioning to Fang.

"He's nice." Dawn said, trying to keep her words as simple as possible, slightly embarrassed at Chloe noticing her sudden friendship with Fang. "Are you alright, Chloe?" She asked, letting a tinsy-bit of concern drip into her cold voice, cocking her head.

"Yes, of course. Fang said that I fainted earlier, but I don't remember what happened. It was probably the heat, I suppose. I feel fine though," she said, her tail swaying right and left.

"I'm sorry you uh... fainted ma'am." Shelly said. "So, I guess I'm officially part of your pack now right?" Shelly asked, wanting to know very badly.
