Fang's eyes darted through the herd, trying to find the biggest one of them all. He soon caught sight of a massive male buffalo. Fang dashed around to the other side of the male so he wouldn't see him. He managed to separate him from the large herd so that it would be easier for Fang to take him down. A wolf is never safe hunting within the center of a large herd. The buffalo snorted and tried to charge at Fang, but he was too quick for it. He lept onto its back, clawing the face. The buffalo stood there shaking its head in pain and Fang took advantage of this by breaking on of its legs, just as Svetlana had done with Demon. Now unable to run away, Fang knocked the buffalo to the ground, and with a quick clamp of his jaws into the the neck, the buffalo was dead in no time. Fang breathed heavily. "No hard feelings man. A wolf has to eat too you know," he said to the now dead beast between breaths. He walked around the buffalo, inspecting the very large animal he had just taken down. "You were sure worth the fight too." He grinned, proud of himself, and turned to see if Dawn was watching him. "Now how are we going to get these back to the clearing?" he wondered aloud.
