Go for it! They're awesome. Angelgotchis are pretty cheap on Ebay right now (just make sure you search for Angelgotchis, which are the Japanese versions, because the US Tamagotchi Oceans are at least $100 apiece...unless, you know, you WANT to get a US one, of course...you never know, you might get lucky, I got a used one a while back for about $15). Devils are very expensive. They go for $100-200 a pop. Someday...when I have more money, lol.

Wow! You guys all have such great collections. I reckon between all of TamaTalk, there's not many tamagotchis we havnt seen or heard of or own. Here's a question for you all, what was your most expensive tamagotchi, and was it worth it. Is it your favorite. If not which one is . Just something to ponder

Mine would probably be... i think my mothra or my umino were the dearest ones i have. My favorite would have to be either my green Hawaiian V3, my Osu-Mesu pair, or my Yellow TMGC+C

I do find random sites that sell old tamas.

@tamag0tchi: The one of yours that we're trying to identify isn't a P2 for sure, because none of the ancestor Tamagotchis have the infrared port at the top like yours does. That's unique to the Connections. It's also not a V5 because the antenna for a V5 is a roof (like on a house, for a family, that's why it's also known as a Familitchi). Haha, it's so funny that we're still trying to figure this out. Maybe if we still can't figure it out in a matter of days, I would recommend that you PM a guide to help you out. Although, I was thinking about it more after we talked and was wondering if maybe it's a Connexion (yes, with an X) because you mentioned that you have to go onto the UK site, and I know that there are some European releases called Connexions. The beaded key chain though...that's what throws me off because I've only ever seen it on an Entama.

I've been collecting since 1997. I got lucky on some of them; the Santaclautch, for example. That one I found at a Goodwill store, brand new in box for around $25.

Update: my most expensive one to date is the Devilgotchi I just got for $70. It was worth it. I have a feeling that someday I'm going to be shelling out around $150-200 on a Santagotchi though. O_O

I check out that Jr-rc guy you mentioned in one of your posts. He has great prices for his tamagotchis! I have to wait awhile before I can get another tama though. Since I pre-ordered a game that comes out on the 27th of July. But I only have 7 tamas xD

- One Tamagotchi Angel - Pearl Yellow.

- Nine Version 1's - Pink w/Stars, Green Matrix, Pink Hearts, Pink Glitter, Orange Glitter, Pink, Lavender, White, and Pearl Pink.

- Five Version 2's - Blue w/ Pink Bubbles, Cobalt, Candy Rings, Tropical Pink, and Camo.

- Three Version 3's - Pink Ice Cream Cones, Snake Skin, and Silver.

- Two Version 4's - Glow in the Dark Stripes and Orange Bubbles.

- Two Version 4.5's - Pink Lava Lamp and Another Orangish Snake Skin.

- Two Version 5's - Rainbow Bubbles and Space.

- One Version 6 (Music Star) - Scarlet Rhythm.

- One TMGC+C - Aqua.

And The first Virtual Pet I ever owned was an orange Nano Kitty. So I actually had a non-Tam Virtual Pet before I discovered them. :furawatchi:
