my morino finally came in the mail!! the only problem is the batteries seem to have corroded the inside even though it came empty? it wasn't listed as damaged. is there any way to fix this? :(
 
you might be able to remove the battery corrosion with some vinegar/lemon juice and a cotton swab + then a stiff bristle paintbrush to scrub (holding so the bits fall outwards rather than further into the device) :newmametchi: how bad is it? pics?

I have to highly advise against the use of either of these substances.
Both are acidic, meaning they eat away at and corrode metals. They’re also conductive, meaning there’s a good chance their residue with short something.
I’d recommend isopropyl alcohol, with the highest purity you can find. 91% or higher should be fine.
