Dolan just sat there, unmoving and unspeaking.

Akadou laughed. "Oh honey, you're going to have to share sometimes."

Paige jotted those down as well and looked at her list, humming quietly. "All is in order. I'll have them shipped to you in two days," she said, making the clipboard disappear in its usual blue sparkle. "Anything else??

"I'd say that's about it really." BB said, already smiling like he used to. Finally, the old place would be getting updated with some TLC.

Aaron hopped onto one of the swings, giggling happily as he swung.

Paige folded her arms across her chest and scanned the place, doing a mental evaluation. She made garbage bags appear and walked over to a shelf, and then made all his tools appear next to him, so she could repair them and fix the wood/or metal everything was held in. She tossed him two garbage bags and the needed tools. "Get cracking on the other side."

BB nodded and got cracking ad instructed. As he did so, he sang merrily with a spring in his tune. The other side of the workshop was mostly home to a fridge, computer station and a large tv.

Blanch sighed and said, "Dolan, whatever you do... be the biggest baby kissin' politician around. Get the environment looking better, help with civil rights, and basically be the nicest person ever. We have to make sure you win the re-election, and then train someone to run when your second term is up."

Kate pouted and said, "Awww.... kay..."

Ophelia got on the swing next to him and tried to go higher than her could. "I'm gonna win!" She declared, grinning devilishly.

Dolan cocked an eyebrow. "You guys are far behind on politics... once I'm re-elected my second term, they're making it a law I stay president. It's already passed for the most part."

Akadou chuckled.

Paige began working as well, dusting and cleaning. "having fun?"

"You can't do that legally," Blanch stated. "Unfortunately for you, that requires changing the constitution, which could take years. After all, it took until 1920 for the constitution to support female voting rights. Also, if you can always be president, that takes away the democratic rights of the people. Don't you see-- you're already making things hard for yourself!"

Kate smiled at Akadou, then rested her head on his shoulder, worn out from a long day of playtime and meeting Dylan.

Ophelia kept swinging and swinging, not bothered by the heights she was reaching. She wanted to go all the way around the bar, if at all possible.

Dolan rolled his eyes. "It's already done. You don't know anything, because you don't know what it's like to serve under me. I'm even tempted to turn us into a monarchy."

"You're not a president. You're a dictator in the making! Don't you see what you're doing!? You're taking away the rights that our forefathers died for in the Revolutionary war! You don't know anything about pleasing the people! All you care about is pleasing yourself! You're just like her!"

BB called out from the other side "For once, yes".

The garbage bags were soon full of various junk and rubbish that had collected over the years, also including tools and components that were either way too outdated or way beyond repair.

"No way! I'm gonna win!". And with that, Aaron swung higher and higher, trying to beat Ophelia at her own game.

Dolan raised an eyebrow. He suddenly realized that they didn't like him, they were just against Lumina. Under that realization Dolan wanted to go home, and REALLY wanted Ryou around to comfort him. How could people NOT like him? He had always had the staying - in - power in mind, and he wanted to keep the United States completely free opinion when it came to politics, that people could believe in whatever they wanted. He stood up. He murmured, "Coop!" under his breath and waited patiently for Cupid to appear, a traveler across time who could save him from this hell hole future they had brought him to.

Coop appeared, next to Dolan. He raised an eyebrow, then realized he was from a different time era. "Hey Dolan, need to go back to your ti-" He looked up and noticed Blanch and the people in the room. He rubbed his temples gently. "Christ."

Paige smiled. She finished up her area of the room. It seemed much improved. "New paint job, and new tools and equipment and we should be set!"

Senator Preston said, "Without our democracy, America is no longer free. That's why we have a democratic republic-- because people want the freedom to choose who represents them. People have a say in what the government chooses to do. If you stray from that, you lose the trust of the people."

Blanch was about to speak again, when she heard footsteps approaching the door. "What... we're all here..." Blanch whispered, her eyes growing wide. "Everyone stay completely still..." It seemed like an eternity until the eye scanner beeped, allowing the door to unlock. Then, it swung open, revealing X, a cheshire cat smile on her face. "Well, well, well... am I late for the party?" She pulled a pistol from her pocket and aimed it at senator Preston. "Heh heh. Government officials plotting treason against the president? That just won't do."

Then she spotted Dolan, and her smile grew wider. "Mr. President. In the flesh! I can't thank you enough for what you've done for Lumina. Your political ideas basically gave her the oval office. We owe it to you, darling. So Blanch, what do you think of your hero now? The truth too hard to bear?" She tossed her head back and laughed, while Blanch stepped in Dolan's way. "Get out of here," she hissed to Coop, not taking her eyes away from the intruder. "Go. Think about what you're doing. Change your ways. Remember... we the people, in order to form a more perfect union--"

"Enough!" X roared, aiming the pistol and Blanch and shooting her right between the eyes. Blood splattered everywhere, and the young woman fell to the floor.

Ophelia giggled and said, "I bet I can jump from really high and land on my feet!"

Coop took Blanch's body and disappeared, taking her to get healed by future Leslie, or to future Fani, in the hopes Leslie could heal her or Fani could revive her. He started at Leslie's bursting through the door. "Call Scarlett, Les! Do something." He placed Blanch on the sofa and Leslie rushed over, trying to control the bleeding.

Dolan sighed, shaking his head. He brought a randomly appeared cigar to his lips, then blew out smoke. "Hello X. Tell Lumina I thank her for being a back stabbing bi***, but I would like to go home soon." He flicked remnants off the cigar and took another puff. "I hope you realize you cannot kill me." He flicked the cigar again and sighed, wishing he had more, but his cigar supply was growing low. "Darling, you're making a huge mistake. You're f*****g up a whole lot killing people... You don't even care about politics. Wanna know something?" He walked up to her, yanking the pistol out of her hand and taking it apart, dropping on the floor. "Next time, go American. The Japanese bullets can't penetrate the thickness of bone in the human skull. Pathetic. I expected better of you."

"But how to celebrate? Or should i just keep it quiet, hand over the keys and walk out the door?". BB shrugged as the ideas rolled into his mind. Retirement sounded nice but giving up his addiction wouldn't be that easy, he knew that much.

Aaron shook his head and leaped from the swing, landing square on his feet a fair few feet away. "Beat that!"

X laughed out loud. "Kill you? Oh no. I'm just proving a point. Look at what has happened, because you failed. Look at the people who have died, because you were too ignorant to stop yourself. For us, it was never politics. It was power." She then pulled a different gun from her vest, then aimed it at the senator from New York. She shot him straight through the chest, killing him instantly. Then, one by one, she began to execute the others. The FBI showed up mid-way, to get rid of the bodies and to arrest those who surrendered. But they stayed away from Dolan, confused as to how he was in two places at once.

Scarlette arrived as soon as she could, and stared at the body with horror. "No... not again... my baby... my poor baby. First Frederick... and now Blanch.... what has this world come to?" She kissed her daughter's hand, cold and limp due to death. "She was... she was going to be a lawyer someday."

Dolan rolled his eyes. "I didn't even fail yet. I failed because you and that back stabbing **** stopped me before I could do anything. You guys don't even know what it means to help the world." He sighed. "I don't care if people die for me. I really don't. They're stupid for sticking up for me in the first place. I wish you wouldn't interfere, that way I could prove myself. But no, Lumina has to be a stupid bi*** like always and back stab and be an a**hole. To everyone." He got another cigar and smoked it slowly. "f*** you all."

Coop looked at Scarlett. "I can bring her back if you want. It might not work perfectly, but I'm sure she can be brought back..." He was weary of calling in Fani, due to her powers only being stabilized for two years now. She was still learning the ropes. He sighed gently and put his arm on Scarlett's back, rubbing gently. "I can fix this. We can definitely fix this." He knew what he had to do. Not bring Dolan back to the present, but go back into the past, a couple days before re-elections, get Blanch, and sabotage Lumina. He thought carefully if this would work, tempted to bring Dolan with him, wondering if this would even work. "Scarlett, you'll have to excuse me." He appeared next to Dolan, stabbing him with his elbow in the side. "Dolan, we're leaving and fixing this mess."

Paige shrugged. "Whatever you want to do."

X simply shrugged, then gave the FBI a few orders. Then she turned her attention back to Dolan. "If I were to, say... help you out... what would be in it for me?" She put her gun on the ground and lifted her hands. "No lies here. Suppose I were interested more in money than in helping Lumina. Suppose I could help you take her down."

Scarlet shook her head and wiped her eyes. "No... she would never forgive me if I brought her back. After Frederick died... she just wanted to make the world better. She would have wanted to die like a hero, than live like a coward."

Ophelia jumped and landed on her feet, with her arms in the air, like a gymnast. "Ta-da!"

When Coop appeared, he managed to hear X talking about helping Dolan. Coop said, "He's not interesting, X. Now leave us alone and go back to ruining lives," he said, taking Dolan's hand. "I'm taking you back to the past, Dolan. You can't be here." With that, Dolan smirked at X. "See you in hell." And they both disappeared.

Coop somehow landed in Dolan's office, back a few days before re-elections. He scanned the room. "Dolan, ask where Blanch is please." Dolan went to his secretary, asking where Blanch was, and asking that she be called in, and if she didn't work there, find a way to get her to the White House as fast as possible. He drummed his fingers on his desk, seating himself in the tall leather seat. "s**t Coop, what are we going to do?"

"Arrest Lumina for treason." Coop held up a letter from Lumina to X, revealing plans.

"Where the f*** did you get that?" Dolan asked. Coop smirked. "I didn't."

X simply shrugged. "See you there," she murmured, picking up her pistol and putting it away.

Lumina was preparing for the elections, giving a press conference. "Well, to make the presidency a permanent spot is obviously taking away the rights of the people. I mean, really, where's the democracy if you don't even allow the people to choose their own leader? It's ridiculous!"

Blanch eventually came into the office, in college attire. She frowned at Dolan. "Huh. Now, what would the president possibly want with me? I have to be on a plane to Boston in less than five hours, so this had better be important. Sir."

Dolan looked at Blanch. "I'm going to give you the run down as fast as I possibly can." So then he went and told her everything, saying he needed a plan and he didn't know what to do. "You're the smartest person I know, Blanch. At least in the future you are, and I need you to help me. Please."
