Erin looked at Zurui carefully, then into her lap. "We can't stay here if your going to be in constant danger.."

Sam kissed him then snapped her fingers, the Earth rising under her and Lyle to make a giant pillar. "Magic is useful."

Sam made the pillar stop. "Oh look, a cloud." She poked it.
