Scarlet got all the kids and went inside. Then she saw Izzy. "Izzy! You're back!"

He closed the door and walked down the the lifetimer gallery

Shadow blinked, "that a bad thing?"

Nekro stopped laughing, "it is actually"

Fani was about to say something to keep him there, but she just sat down and curled in a ball. "God Dam`nit!"

Nai nodded. "She's beyond abusive..." she said quietly.

Leslie sighed. "Well. When is she going to make you marry Colin?"

Nai shuddered. "Hopefully, not soon."

Izzy sat down her backpacking equipment, grinning. "I brought gifts for everyone. And I have a surprise."

Scarlet grinned. "What is it?"

Izzy triumphantly said, "Come on in, surprise!"

Gabriel walked in, looking a bit sheepish.

Scarlet was confused. "Wait... what?"

Izzy said, "This is Gabriel. My fiance."

Death walked into the gallery and stepped through the secret door that lead to his own lifetimer...he conjured his scythe and smashed it...the smash echoed throughout the abode.

Shadow was all o_o#, "Can she be a target?"

Nekro sighed, "you cant keep shadowbolting your problems..wait...nevermind"

Sam was also confused.

In a faroff research facility a few Combine scientists were just ready to start a new experiement.

Lights flickered on in a large-ish room, with two beds and other homely items...however the strangest item in here was a large pane of glass..bulletproof glass.

"Subject 8-01 in first, if you will..", a scientist said.

A Young-ish boy stepped into the room, scared at first

Coop was all wtf @ the scream and went to where he heard it.

Eclair was sitting there innocently, pretending she hadn't screamed at all.

Scarlet blinked a couple of times, then grinned. "Congrats! I can't believe you're finally settling down!!"

A youngish girl stepped in on her side of the glass, looking around with amazement.

Fani ran to the gallery and stared at Death. "W-What did you do..."

Leslie looked at Nai, then Shadow. "You two really need to work your problems out..." she said, then went to the door because someone was knocking on it.

Nai's mom stood in the doorway. An older version of Nai. "Hello Leslie, Nai here?" Leslie led Nai's mom into the living room.

"Good to see you again, Ms. Tithe," Leslie said, smiling.

Tomoyo threw Mitsuki some jeans and a Cobra Starship shirt. HEEHEE

"What kind of cookies?" Yumi asked, just as excited.

Coop stared at Eclair. He looked around. "You okay?"

The list appeared in his hand and he ticked off a name.

"I've come to terms that i cant bring happiness...i cant give people what they want..so im going back to what i do best..taking away their life", He said, his old familar tone ringing in his voice

Nekro went back to the spellbooks

8-09 was too scared to notice the young girl

A scientist turned to another, "is this right? i mean...at their age?"

"We need to learn what could happen to organisms. We're furthering our knowledge of behavior. It's necessary."

Esperanza was still looking around.

Fani ran up to Death, put stopped short. "Stop it!" She screamed, irritated and sad. "You don't know how happy you make me! You don't know ANYTHING!" She continued to scream and ran out of the gallery, crying.

"Leslie, you know by now you can call me Elinor," she said.

Leslie smiled.

Nai stood up and gave her mom a curtsy. "Hello Mother, I would like to introduce you to someone..." She rose and gestured to Shadow. "That is the love of my life."

"Yes but...never mind.". He turned to a voice activated panel, "Begin log of experiment S.E.P.E.R.A.T.I.O.N"

8-01 looked at the glass, then at esperanza, "hmm?"

Death tilted his head in confusion before falling to the floor, semi dead and reverting back to his skeletal self.

Shadow turned to face nai's mother and bowed politely, "Hello. Nice to meet you"

Fani couldn't stop crying. She couldn't stop being upset and hurt.

Fiore found Fani and scooped her up and told her to hush. "Fani... Shhhh..." Fiore sighed.

Fani coughed, then sighed. "...Daddy," she whispered, before falling asleep.

She looked him up and down. "What about Colin?"

"I hate Colin, Mother. Shadow.. isn't that great either, but he is better by a landslide. I love him, no matter what..." Nai's voice quavered.

"And did he ask you for a hand in marriage?"

Nai looked down. "N-No..."

"Exactly."

Death was back to his normal old self but he just lay there..confused and wondering.

Shadow piped up, "I have planned to do so beforehand before being dragged away by my higher peers."

Nekro poked his head through the door, "That's true"

Fiore took Fani to her room and tucked her in under the covers. "...Poor Fani."

Nai looked up at her mom. "Please, Mother."

"What's done is done. Colin will be visiting in a month or so, you will marry him," she declared. "If this Shadow truly loved you, he would have ignored the higher peers for you."

Nai looked down and shivered. "Mother..."

"Don't mother me." Elinor's eyes showed deep signs of anger.

Death stayed where he was, he was trying to figure everything out

Shadow's ears twitched violently, the green glow in his eyes getting slightly more intense

Nekro spotted this and dragged him away, "Sorry about this ;;"

Fiore went to go find Death. She walked into the gallery and put her hands on her hips. "You really need help," she said. "Are you blind, Death? Can't you tell you make Fani extremely happy? That you understand her and that's all she wants out of someone?" She shook her head. "Shatter her heart, much?"

Nai sighed heavily. "I have Shadow's two kids, Mom!"

"You were the one stupid enough to fall in love."

Nai's heart skipped a beat.

Death got to his feet, "All i saw from fani was tears and sadness...i thought i was making her upset. Bah, i dont understand you humans at all sometimes.."

The sand kept pouring out of his lifetimer and onto the floor.

Jhomkath floated into the room and glared at Nai's mother, "i overheard you talking about Master....", he said, shaking with rage.

"Thanks," Mitsuki said, putting them on. LOL

"Like, like, oreos~! And those other ones, that look like animals, except with FROSTING AND SPRINKLES!!"

"I'm perfectly fine. Just felt like screaming." Eclair said calmly.

Fiore shook her head. "She's sad you don't see her how she wants to be seen. The daughter, the friend, the family. You treat her like and employee >.>"

Nai looked over at Jhomkath. "Don't hurt her, or I hurt you," she said.

Elinor walked up the stairs of Leslie's to put her stuff in the guest room.

Nai broke down.

Tomoyo smiled and slid her silk dress on easily.

"OHEMGEE!" Yumi yelled, "I WANT OREOS'."

Coop nodded and sat next to her. "I'm Coop."

NATHANIEL WAS ALL NO PROBLEMO.
