Marin screamed as loud as he could.

The Thing stood behind him, "elfy fall down...elfy dumb to do that."

"Their friends. Not family. I don't share their blood and DNA."

Willow suddenly scrambled out of the tree she was in and sigheddd.

"But dont humans consider close friends family?"

The thing grabbed willow by his legs and dangled him upside down...it was an ogre of some sorts, "Mebbe elfy will make good stew."

Marin freaked, "YOU'RENOTCOOKINGME! HEEEEELP!!"

"Not me. Not when I never knew a real family," Fani muttered. "You don't know how much I have prayed for a father, and a mother who can tuck me in at night. I never had anyone to chase the monsters away. It was only myself."

Willow heard Marin and darted off towards him.

Death bowed his head a little, "I never knew a family either..all i remember is...well this."

The ogre licked marin, "Bluck...elfy needs salt"

"GERROFF ME!", marin yelled, too panicky to chant any spell

Fani stared at Death for a long time. She looked down, then up at him again.

Willow skidded to a halt by Marin and looked at the ogre. "GET AWAY FROM MARIN!" Her eyes went icy blue and her shield went up.

The ogre dropped Marin and looked at willow, "whussis? an appet...appe...Snack?"

Marin flicked open his spellbook, "c'mon...where is that spell!?"

Death shook his head, "I've seen and split plenty of families...i saw their faces when i took away loved ones...they hate me."

 

[Disenchanted]

Willow looked at the ogre for a long minute. "Get away from my Marin and don't bother me." Her eyes flickered icy blue and normal, and kept going like that.

"Do you know my parents?"

The ogre chuckled and stomped towards her.

Marin swore under his breath and jumped onto the ogre's back, clubbing him on the head with his spellbook

Death thought about this, "i cant remember if i have...but it's possible"

 

[Disenchanted]

Willow watched.

"My name is actually Danielle Mattews. Last name ring a bell?"

 

[Robonekro]

"ooww! Cut that out, Elfy!", The ogre yelled, trying to reach for his head.

Marin kept hitting him on the head, his eyes clouded over slightly

Death shook his head, "still nothing."

Willow opened her palm and a ball of light started forming in her hand.

Fani let out a sigh. "My mothers maiden name... is... Barett... She's an anthropologist."

The ogre managed to grab Marin and tossed him into a tree, "ELFY HURT! ELFY GO SMASH!"

Marin was out cold.

Death's eyesockets glimmered a little, "ah yes...now i remember"

Willow tossed her ball of light at the ogre, then ran to Marin.

Fani looked at Death intently. "What? What is it?"

The ogre ran off, too scared to take them both on

Marin was still out cold, his head was bleeding a little

"I remember her..."

Willow put her shield down and bent down by Marin. She was shaking a little. "M-Marin..."

"What happened to her?"
