I don't eat at Asian restaurants (or any restaurants) but an Asian food I know of sushi... I think it is bad to eat raw fish. People say it is healthy but it can actually be poisonous.

Other than that, it seems that rice and noodles are used in a lot of Asian dishes. I like rice and noodles (to some extent, at least)!

Do you own more than one computer?

yes

'nuff said

Best country to live in, in your opinion?

Well here are what I believe are the three best, at least from what I've seen in surveys and articles:

Iceland - low crime, not as cold as most people think, safe, beautiful scenery

Finland - Excellent schools and good sized cities

Austria - Clean, "In Austria 90% of people says they are satisfied with their housing and basic facilities", good schools.

What do you think about nuclear power?

I regret not making the purpose of this topic clearer *shot*

Oh no worries, it was very much clear. It just requires a higher level of thinking like in a Socratic Seminar which is taught in high school, but not everyone has learned about it yet.

Nuclear power, eh? Never heard of this term. Nuclear doesn't sound very good, and power usually requires a large supply of the source, so nuclear power must be quite dangerous. I say that there's definitely better sources of power out there.

Ah, graduation day, one of the days that many young adults look forward to most in their life. However, some families will simply kick their child out as soon as they have graduated and turned eighteen. Do you think that this is irresponsible on the parents' part? Or maybe they're teaching the lesson of responsibility in a large matter? Where do you stand in this issue?

I think it's horrendous to kick your kid out on graduation day. I mean, they just got through 13 years of education, often without a job because they are so committed to school. It's totally not teaching responsibility to just kick them out.

What is your opinion on heterosexism?

Well I disagree with most kinds of discrimination but homosexuality is dangerous and immorally wrong in my opinion, when it comes to them having intercourse, at least. I don't think gays should have less rights than other people, or get punished / harmed but I still disagree with homosexuality.

What's your favorite holiday, and how do you enjoy celebrating it?

hm, I don't really "celebrate" holidays...usually it's just a nice peace and quiet. :)

Do you think using selective breeding on pets (to make munchkin cats and puffy eyed goldfish, for example) is cruel?

Edit: ooops, someone posted while I was typing this, and my post still went through. ._.

edit again: changed answer to match new post by EMF

I think it's only cruel if you create animals that have trouble walking, seeing etc. or have shortened lifespans or anything. If you just want to breed white cats or something, I think that's okay as long as you make sure not to alter anything else other than the cat's fur colour.

Do you celebrate Christmas? Why or why not? (That was random)

Because Christmas is also part of my religion (Jesus was born on Christmas) [i'm Christian]

Do you know Hiragana or Katakana

Yes, I know both Hiragana and Katakana. Fun stuff, with Katakana you can write English words down and people won't know what you're saying!

Do you believe high school sports should be abolished?

No because I had a traumatic experience of spambots attacking me and my fellow Tamatalkers with viruses and porn and they would shoot these links at 100 times per second and they were advertising that app thingy

They jinxed it man

Now guys can we PLEASE stick to the friggin topic? My OCD is exploding right now. NON TAMATALK GUYS. WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK ABOUT TAMAGOTCHI HERE. AND THIS ISN'T FOR QUIRKY THINGS ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A SIMPLE YES OR NO ANSWER. IT'S FOR SERIOUS, THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTIONS. IF YOU TRULY CANNOT THINK OF SOMETHING, CHECK THE NEWS FOR BIG THINGS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN OR SOMETHING. Sorry sorry but jeez I am super OCD and I know y'all are gonna think I'm crazy for getting worked up over this but maaan keep this organized!

And now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Homosexuality is definitely controversial, but Bisexuality is on a completely different level. Believe it or not, many people in the LGBT community think that people (especially girls) who claim to be Bisexual are just doing it for attention, or they're just confused. It's even becoming what some would call trendy. What are your thoughts on Bisexuality? Can someone truly love both genders, or are they simply confused on their feelings? (This is not to be confused with Pansexuality. Pansexuals see the person as a whole regardless of gender or gender identity. On the other hand, Bisexuals do see gender as a factor of if they like someone or not.)

I think if stuff like homosexuality wouldn't even be allowed, it wouldn't even come up in people's mind to become bisexual. I think it's an outcome of all the freedom in that area that we are given. People try(and probably like) new things they try out because there is nobody that tells them they shouldn't cross that line. Quite the opposite in fact.

Do you believe in aliens?

I don't see the reason why people should have to limit their love to only one gender, therefore I am in favour (I don't think that's the right word to use) of bisexuality. I think that one could potentially have equal love for both genders, although maybe some have a preference to either one whilst identifying as a bisexual, which is okay too. It is kind of irritating when people just write it off as a trend or fad, as people really can have feelings for either gender, and not just one, and it's kind of unfair to do so just because the person expressing their sexuality is a teenage girl. I've heard the term 'bi-curious' around a bit, which may be a bit more accurate in some situations though.

What are your thoughts on overpopulation (humans)? Do you think it's just a myth, or is a genuine problem in the world?

Wooo two questions to answer! *inception*

I think overpopulation is a real problem, unfortunately. I believe that the human race will eventually suffer some kind of disaster or illness that kills most of us, probably a disaster caused by human stupidity. (Sorry to be such a downer.) However, I do also believe that China's population is going to drop dramatically over the next 30 years due to their aging population, one-child policy, and male majority. And a lot of other countries might start making one-child policies or at least suggesting to their citizens not to over-reproduce.

Nothing real will be done about it until there is an extremely-visible global disaster.

Also, I do believe that there might be some form of alien life out there, but I feel that it is something we cannot even fathom. For example, it wouldn't have three eyes, it would have no eyes. It would be adapted to its natural environment and thus have characteristics that allow it to survive out there. It might not even fit our usual standard of biological life.

What is your stance on genetic engineering?

I intended for this to be a place for TTers to ask serious questions that aren't significant enough to warrant the creation of a new topic
I'm quoting Box again guys because I'm asking everyone to remember the intention of the topic.

If your serious question already exists as a discussion topic on the SNTT forums then it is significant enough to warrant it's own topic and duplicating it here is redundant.

Not saying it is happening all over this topic, just asking everyone to keep it in mind.
