I don't know. I think day old bread is like a dollar though.

What is your life goal?

My life goal...I'd say, figure out my place in the world. And work for Nick Games Group/Neopets shhh

Over the years, famous idols for young girls have been taking more of a sex appeal route in their image. The most noteable one of recent is Miley Cyrus. Tween and young teen girls often take after these celebrities and try to dress like them and behave like them. How do you feel about celebrities who promote such image, and the girls that follow it?

Last edited by a moderator:
I strongly disagree with it, because it makes girls obsessed with things like losing weight and looking attractive rather than getting good grades and being happy and healthy. Celebrities have the power to influence girls to be kind and have self-esteem, but they choose to give bad messages instead. :(

How many languages do you know/learn?

I only know English, I'm learning Japanese, and I've attempted to learn Chinese, Korean, Russian, German, Japanese once again, and French before. :p

How do you feel about feminism?

Last edited by a moderator:
Feminism started out as a great idea with the Women's Suffrage and the Women's Liberation Movements. It was all about fighting for equal rights and it was a worthy and honorable goal. However, after that it unfortunately took a bit of an extreme turn when it began to exclude the other gender all together. Sometimes, people get so passionate about something they're fighting against that they don't realize in the act of doing so, they become the very thing they hate. Most feminists I've met in recent years have been just like the chauvinists they've been trying to oppose.

What is your stance on women's rights issues in the developing world?

Last edited by a moderator:
Well, I think it is weird and wrong for people to cause them to have "rights issues"...both genders are equal, and discrimination based on gender is like racism. It is simply "wrong"/immoral, yet sadly it still happens in developing places... I'm anti-sexist.

Do you think divorced people should not re-marry?

I think remarriage is perfectly fine. It can actually help families rebuild after divorce.

(and this is coming from a kid with divorced parents.)

What is your stance on climate change?

I believe it's true, there's proof that it's happening with the rising tree-lines, retreating ice caps, ect. Unfortunately I do think that the future is grim.

What do you think about pansexuality?

I don't know what it is...*searches on Google* I'm fine with it. People can love who they want, if it isn't hurting anyone I'm not going to oppose it.

Do you think that, if something isn't hurting anyone (physically or emotionally), it's always fine to do that thing?

yes. some people get the stupidest sentences.

I heard a man get LIFE in prison for armed robbery.
Hey, hey, hey, mention that it goes the other way too xD

In Norway, a mass murderer only got 20 years. That's only months for each person he killed, if you look at it that way.

*quietly slips back into abyss*

No. It will always depend on what it is you plan to do. It's more a question of whether you think it is morally right or wrong.

Like, claiming money you are not entitled to because you can - due to some legal loophole or .. defrauding someone ("Benefits" cheats for example)

It's not directly hurting anyone, but it's not "right".

Do you believe that Emergency Services (Fire / Ambulance / Police) should go on strike if they don't get the pay rise or early retirement / pensions benefits they think they are entitled to?

Tough question. It's absolutely awful that the people doing these important jobs are underpaid and don't have enough benefits, but on the same token if they went on strike that would be really dangerous for the citizens. Although if they went on strike, everyone would see how important they were and might consent to give them a pay raise. I don't think their strike could last very long.

What do you think of the US government shutdown, in which people working in "non-essential" federal positions were furloughed?

Thinking of the government shutdown makes me shake my head in disbelief. Honestly, it just sounds like the temper tantrum of a 3 yr old who throws himself on the ground and has a fit when he doesn't get his way. It reminds me of a conversation between Dorothy and Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?

Scarecrow: I don't know... but some people without brains do an awful lot of talking, don't they?

What is your stance on the U.S.'s foreign policy of getting involved in the internal affairs of other countries? (i.e. Syrian situation)

Tough one. Butting out would be great, but things aren't getting settled (and people are looking to see what the US'll do). Though, America is not the world's policemen.

The people who got things involved *cough* last time are regretting their votes. After Afghanistan/Iraq chaos and the tremendous cost that came with it, people are weary about any foreign engagement. Action would come with many risks. Compared to Iraq, Syria is going to be a lot better at defending itself. Besides, while the US is trying to decide whether it wants to get involved, Syria'll definitely be preparing. Highly unlikely that the U.S. could impose its will on the country with the third largest pile of chemical weapons, and a much stronger army than either Iraq or Afghanistan.

...I dunna what to make of the situation. Sure, it's violent, but the poeple are confident.

Guess I'm saying it's too complicated for US involvement

meh

What is the most significant thing that can be done to improve education in America? itsa terrible *shot* teachers aren't qualified, people seem to think more funding is the [only] answer when it's not, etc.

Getting more teachers and extra teachers when the main ones are absent.

If you'd got the chance to pick one of these for free (Sony Laptop, iPhone, 3DS XL & 3 Games), what would you choose?

What are your reasons for choosing Apple products over the leading competition? I have my own reasons, and I assume you do, too ;P

I don't buy apple products. Just used a pc my whole life and am use to it.

only Apple product I own is my 5th gen Ipod Nano.

I choose it over every other music player as I like the camera and the radio feature, its sleek and a beautiful color.

a lot more durable than any other player i've used.. I've gone through quite a few mp3 players.

Whats your most embarrasing moment?
