Petition agaisnt Encylopedia Dramatica

I'm making a petition against Encylopedia Dramatica , as it's nothing but a ****- filled lie- infested slanderous hobo corner. Someone with common sense and empathy tried to delete the pack of lies they call articles as I've seen in the past hour so but the idiots who have been darned to that hell of a site restored the crap they call articles. So stop the slander and sign here!

Okay, there is a site called Encylopedia Dramatica, and they have posted lies about some people. It is written in a Wikipedia format. They lied about someone here on Tamatalk and slandered about number of people on Deviant Art.

Huh? Well I think the only type of petition that will help against the site getting shut down would be a written one. I really don't think they'll care about a few people signing something online they've never heard of.

That's how you should persue the TT member problem, because ED as a whole is not responsible.

It states clearly it is parody and satire, and for humourous purpose, and thusly it shouldn't be taken seriously. You can't do anything to it. Also, I find ED to be quite lulzy.

There already ARE sites that want to shut ED down. I know of the article in question, and the writers of it have no sense of humor and cannot write.

I know we're a "nice people" community, but most of the people who landed themselves an ED article had it coming. The person on TT did not. You can get yourself a place in ED if you do a few of these things:

*Draw hate art

*Draw ****/pedophelia related things/inflation art/scary fetish art

*steal/rip/trace art and complain when people notice

*troll the site

*have a super inflated ego

*Whine about everything and complain that your life sucks

*fake a suicide

*Post long inflammatory posts in the forums which lead to flame wars often (like me except better.)

*Have mary sue fancharacters (Aka: drawing ****)

*Among other things..

Encyclopedia Dramatica can be funny if the author can write and you can take a joke.

You're right about the fact that the article on the TT member in question isn't even that well done. There are much better (read:lulzier) articles there.

Just ignore it, okay? A Petition isn't going to help, because it just feeds the fuel to ED even more. Even Chan sites get their kicks from it.
