Just ignore it, okay? A Petition isn't going to help, because it just feeds the fuel to ED even more. Even Chan sites get their kicks from it.

Snapesnogger? Oh Yeah. A lot of deviants I know were lied about there. There's a deviant I know I know named *Waluigis-girl, and she was unrightously slandered with racist and unethical slurs on ED. It's a brutal site.

Let me put this is terms you children, the ones not understanding, will understand. Encyclopedia Dramatica makes fun of people, sites, places, and anything else that has earned the title of 'stupid'. If you ask me, the type of drama that lands itself in TamaTalk makes itself the biggest laughing stock on the internet. I'm serious here. People read your drama and laugh AT you all because you all are nothing more than children wishing for an ideal world where nothing bad happens. Here's the truth.

Pain exists. Yes, it does. Why does it exist? To make us STRONGER. The strength we gain from mankind's pain allows us to carry on, to evolve and grow passed the pain. If there was EVER a perfect world, where pain does not exist, mankind would cease to gain strength.

People outside this site realize this, and THAT is why they laugh at you people. 'OH NOEZ!! TamaTalk is being made fun of again!' So what? It is their opinion. EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion, believe it or not. Not everyone will agree with you. If they don't like you, don't whine about it.

As I said, ED exists for the users to make fun of people. If ANY articles are deleted, it will likely be reposted with vengeance. Just give up. You can't change the internet, which is one of the most hateful places on Earth.

ED isn't really ever made fun of on TT. It doesn't even have an article of its own. It is mentioned in ONE article about a user, and that article focuses moar on that user's activity in Deviantart. I'll agree this petition is silly, but c'mon.

The sad truth is that older (supposedly, wiser) people get a real kick out of making fun of younger children who feel more strongly about things.

Maybe the authors feel better/superior when they can talk down to younger children, call them stupid and make fun of them.

ED makes fun of things. That is the way it is.

The point is, getting all worked up and trying to start a topic and a petition on TamaTalk about how terrible ED is simply gives them more to laugh (and write) about.

Of course you would be upset if someone is cruelly named and shamed. Satire and Spite may start and end with the same letters - but that's where the similarity ends. The TT submission on ED fell into the latter category.

As several members have said, you're better off ignoring it and shrugging it off... :furawatchi:

Don't forget it's mostly adults and older teens who are writing these ED things to feed their "superiority" complexes.

Don't learn from their petty spleen that this kind of behaviour is normal - or sink to their level.
