I know I may sound a little bit overreacting but...

My crush and his girlfriend broke up yesterday!!

I was trying to make him happy all day since he was all sad, so we were joking with eachother and what not. And then when our buses came at the same time so we walked up the stairs together and he started talking to me while we waited to get on. And then he goes, "see you tonight" and he never says that stuff to me! He was talking about the skating place we go to every Friday. So when he got there, he called my name and waved. He never does that stuff to me either! I was like to my friends, "OMG did you guys just see that?!" And we got all excited. And then the whole time he would just come up to me saying hey.

I don't know why but this all makes me feel so special... *hugs self*

My friends say I should ask him out on Friday, since it'll give him a week to get over it. I won't rush him, though. :]

I'm just so happy right now... what should I do?

I agree honesty is always the best policy so there for tell him how you feel and if it works out its great if not then there is always some one else.

Don't go and tell him just yet. >.> He just broke up, it's not like he wants another girlfriend on the spot. Have some sympathy for his ex-girlfriend too; she's having some rough times.

Just be there for him.. Being friends with a guy I think is WAY better then being his boyfriend. (Then again, all my guy friends are phychotic maniacs, and I'm sure Mr. McDreamy isn't...) When you're friends theres a lot less drama going on; you can really be yourself.

Yeah telling him how you feel right off might throw him off, especially after a break up. The fact though that he's giving you positive signals like doing body language towards you that hee's never done is awesome of course! Definitely ask him about that date, but add something like "Lemme know if you're up for it" and make sure to ask him well in advance so he has time to ponder it. Nothing wrong going on a little one on one get together, just don't go into the feelings thing right now. Only exception to this rule at this time is if he does it first :)
