New Year gatecrashers

Zane kissed her softly. "I promise, you won't ever lose me again. All we need is for Lucinda and Nick to be out of they way, and then we have no problems."

"So really, we need to deal with Lucinda and Nick..." Eleanor gave a small shudder, curling up closer to Zane.

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded, and held her tightly.

 

[tamaturtle]

"I'm scared, Zane." Eleanor whispered. "Who knows what those two could do?"

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded. "Don't be. You're the strongest immortal of all, even if you don't know it yet."

 

[tamaturtle]

"I'm no use then, am I?" Eleanor said, looking up at Zane.

 

[YellowJedi]

"You are. All you need to do is be able to use your powers without any resistance." Zane explained.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Well, whatever resistance is, I seem to have a great deal of it!"

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane sighed. "Let's just drop it and focus on the positives."

 

[tamaturtle]

Eleanor didn't drop it. "I'm going to have to be trained up before we do anything."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well, I guess I could try and help..."

 

[tamaturtle]

"Please, Zane... it'll make me feel a lot better."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Okay, well, there are two ways to use your powers. You can either channel into your emotions, or clear your mind of everything but your powers. Personally, I use my emotions."

 

[tamaturtle]

Eleanor nodded. "Yeah. I mean, I caused a lot of damage to Melody when we were... um, fighting over you."

 

[YellowJedi]

Zane nodded. "I know, I saw." he said. "All you need to do is do that again.l"

 

[tamaturtle]

"What, attack Melody?" Eleanor laughed, before becoming serious. "I dunno, Zane..."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well, I think I can take Nick, but Lucinda, well... I think she'll be too strong for me."

 

[tamaturtle]

"Really? She looks and acts like a small child."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Yeah, but she's somehow really powerful."

 

[tamaturtle]

"Great." Eleanor groaned. "Worse than Voriz?"
