My kitty has a heart murmur. It makes the heart go all weird. :) It's because he eats too much and is too fat.

So now we have to cut back on how much he eats, and he's not used to that kind of treatment.

I hope my kitty gets rid of this 'heart murmur'. It's just another bad thing to add on...

Awww... Sorry to hear that, TGD. :)

I have a soft spot for animals.

And I know how you feel...

My kitty has a Hyper thyroid Disease, and it's hard to watch my Dad stuff pills down his throat. We found a way better way to "Pill" him, though... Thank God. :)

A heart murmur tends to go away, so all the best for you and your kitty.

Thanks all for your sympathy.

He mgiht have to take pills, and it COULD possibly become serious. And it may turn into a heart diasese(sp?).

My poor wittle kitty....

Oh, man.

I hope it doesnt become anything worse...

And if your kitty does have to take pills, I have a tip so it is'nt so hard on the poor kitty.

Instead of shoving a pill down his throat, crush up the pill into a powder and mix it into the wet cat food you give him.

It's less hard on the cat.

My cat actually likes taking his pill now!

What a relief...

Anything to help him. :D

Best Wishes,

-Rachel

I sure hope your cat will be OK. And that'll be soo sad it it chooses to go to the big catbox up in the sky (If you know what I mean)

Lots of sympathy,

Alyssa

Awww....thank you everybody.

My poor kitty seems ok, but my brother said that if it gets serious, my kitty will start becoming VERY tired (which he seems to be), lose his appitite (nope, he seems liek he's always hungry!), and throw up (which he's not doing). So let's just all wish him the best.

If you have to feed it pills here is a suggestion. get a food it really likes, like cheese for a dog and put the pill inside of that food it makes it go down faster and you don't have to shove it down there throat.

But i do feel sympathy for you. a few years ago my dog died because he got ran over. before that though all these huskeys bit up his behind and had to have surgery. Luckily, my mom was there when it happened!!!!!

I hope your cat gets better. This must be really hard for you but just know your cat will get better.

My dog has hypothydroism (the opposite of hyperthydroism).

I'm sorry! I hope your little kitty gets better soon. (A heart murmer is where you can hear the blood rushing in the heart. Lots of people have it, and it usually doesn't hurt them.)

My kitty does too! He is doing fine though. It should not be too much of a problem
