Amaya led them out of Vaiz's house and down the street. "I don't live that far away. Just a few minutes away."

"That's good." Vaiz said, walking next to her.

"Uhuh." Amaya said cheerfully.

 

[YellowJedi]

Vaiz smiled at her. "Is this it?" He asked.

"Yup!" Amaya ran up the to the door and unlocked it, holding it open for Vaiz. "After you." Amaya smiled.

Vaiz nodded, walking in.

Amaya followed Vaiz inside. Kiko growled loudly, he was still in the form of a dog. "Awww no..." Amaya threw herself infront of Vaiz with her arms outstretched."Kiko! No!"

"I don't think he likes me much." Vaiz sighed, looking at the dog.

"He's just jealous... He doesn't like anyone I interact with...." Amaya walked over and rubbed Kiko's head. "It's okay Kiko... I'm not going to forget about you!" Amaya gestured for Vaiz to come and pet Kiko. "I think he'll let you pet him now, if you want."

Vaiz walked over cautiously, starting to pet Kiko.

Kiko lolled his tongue out, obviously enjoying it. Amaya giggled, "See? He's nice if you earn his trust."

Vaiz just nodded, continuing to pet him.

Kiko shifted into a cat all of a sudden. Amaya sighed and laughed a little.

Vaiz smiled at Amaya, rubbing Kiko in between his ears.

Amaya smiled back when she heard Kiko start purring. "I think he likes you now!"

Vaiz nodded. "That's a good thing." He said softly, looking at Amaya. "How could anyone ever try to hurt you? You just seem so perfect..."

Amaya blushed and looked down. She didn't know how to respond, so she just tried to hide her blush.

 

[YellowJedi]

Vaiz looked down. "No one will ever hurt you again. I won't let them. You don't deserve it."

 

[nokotchi]

Amaya hugged Vaiz tightly. "Thank you.... so much.."

 

[YellowJedi]

Vaiz just looked down, blushing slightly. "I'm sorry you've had such a horrible past, but I'm going to work as hard as I can to make it better for you." Vaiz returned the hug. "I promise."
