"I'm fine, my legs are a little sore after sitting for so long but the question is are you? What happened?" Blair asked as she leaned forward to inspect for any wounds.
Ze shrugged. "I don't remember much. I just knew I had to keep you safe, and then I used my sword. Normally when I use it, it just shoots me back and drains all my energy." he explained softly.
Ze laughed. "No, not like that." He explained. "As a person." he told her. "See, I don't believe in love, or any of that stuff. It just doesn't make sense to me."
Blair felt her cheeks turn even redder with embarrassment. "Sorry, it just seemed that you were talking about it in that way." She apologized quickly. "And as a person, you're kind. A little stupid for taking risks like hiding me but very kind."
Ze nodded, laughing a bit. "Yeah, I guess I am stupid when it comes to those things." He said, smiling. "But I don't mind, I just want to keep you safe."
"Why do you want me to be safe anyway?" Blair asked and cocked her head to the side. "I mean, I would have killed you when we met. Not just because you were a Lunar either."
Ze sighed. "I'm not really sure. I just don't want to see you get hurt." He didn't know how to explain it, how he felt like it was his job to keep her safe.
