I have Mother 1+2 (not a ROM, the real thing, I know Japanese). I have 6 Melodies on EarthBound (Pokey you jerk! At least Picky is nice..) and beat Mother(1).
Mother 3... Poor Lucas, having a fagg0t of a brother...
Edit: Wasn't Pippi based off of Japanese children's book: "Pippi Longstockings"? I also think the english names for Mother are:
Ninten = Ken
Ana = Anna
Loid = Lloyd
Teddy = Barry
..but I'm not sure, is this true?
The first enemy in Mother 2 is either a:
Stray Dog
Crow
Snake
Starman Jr., if you manage to avoid all enemies
...and Mother 3 had some fly thing...?
