Jade knelt by Croy's side. "He's out cold!" She said. "Toby... do you think you could help him?"

Toby said, "I'll try my best!" He knelt down and placed his hand on Croy's back. Then, it seemed as if he zoned out completely. He was giving Croy more energy, healing him.

Croys breath seemed a little bit more full, hardy, but in all... he was just tired, and the sounds of the metal, everything down there, amplified... it gave him a huge headache.

Jade said, "Okay Toby. Good job." She then picked Croy up, hoisting him over her shoulder, and started walking, with Toby following behind.

Willard looked down at Axie, "do.. you.. ever think about the kids."

Avi randomly hugged Alli. "You're handsome!"

Croy was heavy, though, with the wings and the height all dead weight on her shoulder.

Axie sighed. "All the time, Willard." She whispered.

Jade kept moving, her mouth set in a thin, serious line.

"I know you will be seeing them soon." She whispered.

He woke up after a bit- a writhed, slidding out of her arms.

"i hope." He opened the door to the bathroom.

Jade said, "Are you feeling better?"

Toby hid behind his older sister.

He coughed, and nodded. "Sure."

"I know." She said. "Somehow, I think youll get a chance to leave before I do."

".. I'm not leaving until you can." Willard said quietly. "I won't leave alone."

Jade hugged him, randomly. However, she let go of him just as quickly as she had hugged him, remembering that her little brother was there, and might get the wrong idea.

"...What if you have to?' She sighed. "Your life cant be about me, Willard."

Croy was a little dazed, but nodded anyways. "Glad I could help...?"

Jade said to Toby, "Toby... this is Croy. Croy, Toby."

Toby shyly shook Croy's hand.

Croys long fingers likewise grasped the kids hand, and he shook it, before releasing. "Pleasure."

"I cant be your whole life." She whispered.

"Well...." Jade said, "I got what I wanted but... if you'd like, you could stay with us."

"no, that other part is my children." Willard whispered.
