Avi suddenly jumped up and took a step back. A huge circle of land ahead caved in, revealing a large cavern. "Well... your brother is down there, at the lowest level. But be careful, the place reeks of human." She didn't want to sday it, but she didn't think that he would be alive much longer.

Croy stumbled back, his ears pressed against his head.

Of course he heard al that down there, if in a faint, muffled sort of way- but now that it was open, it caused noise enough to make him pass out if he didnt hold himself together.

She shook her head swiftly. "No water!" She pleaded.

He sat down, stretching his wings out first. He yawned, and laid on his side. He wraped the wings around her carefully. "i'm sleepy."

"Okay." She whispered, curling into him.

"good night." He whispered, letting his eyes close.

"Night." She replied, her own eyes closing.

Nathaniel slowly fell asleep, holding her loosely.

Everett was at her side, massaging her shoulders silently.
