Kyouri blinked, taking note of everyone else who was gone.

And then there was Yulia- when he saw her, he almost broke down in tears.

Yulia looked at her father, and blinked. She was fine now.

"Im so glad shes okay." He whispered to Sorrow.

Sorrow nodded, but then her eyes widened. "DANI." She looked upset. "he's.."

Kyouri staired. "Hes... dead."

She sniffed. "what if.. the.. cat ate him.."

Kyouri had to laugh. "If it was unstable in life, im sure the discharge on that things body will ten fold itself. Bsides- the cat was like a bobcat, not a mountain lion."

Sorrow sighed. "okay."

Kyouri stopped his laughter. "He really is dead, isn't he?"

She looked hurt, "yes."

Kyouri pulled her close, though he had no sympathy for the 'poor bastard.' "Wherever its gone, its in a better place... I hope.

"Dani is not an 'it'." She almost snapped.

Kyouris eyes narrowed. "Yes it was. It was a girl, and then a boy- what would you call that? a heshee? It is a more simple term."

Sorrow sighed, and curled into him. "He's technically a male.."

"I wouldnt say.." He stopped. "You didnt try and save him?"

"i couldn't. i.. actually accidently froze him. i was angry, and froze the whole area. and i had to hurry, to save Yulia."

Kyouri had to think about it. "And... Ice smothers electricity." He said quietly.

Sorrow winced and nodded, "yeah.." She curled into him, quiet now. "i'll get him.. later.."
