Axie saw them, yelled at them, and made her way faster to the river. unfortunately, this was also twords the screams- but she could think of no other place to hide but where she was going. It was just a race to see who would get there first.

Kyouri followed them and snatched up Parade from Axies arms.

"I dont know." Everett whispered.

Demetri cuddled the baby.. "hush now.. little one.."

Sorrow followed them, and then.. Growled. She felt angry.

Willard winced.. "where..?"

the baby stared up at Demetri in that cute baby amazement. She hiccupped a couple of times, still upset. She sniffled, cuddling close to him.

Aviance ran into a clearing, then found herself surrounded by creatures that looked like men in black cloaks. They breathed heavily, shrilly. One of them hissed, "So... you have decided to give yourself up to the horrible fate that was given to you."

Aviance said, "No.... i have come to fight it!!!" She drew out a sword, which was slightly random, who knows how she had it.

The creatures screeched, making Aviance feel dizzy. Her hearing was extremely sensitive.

Kyouri paused and looked back at her, While Axie tried to pull him along but was intent to get the others to safty. She suddenly pulled back and into a slid with Kiara protected in one arm, and fell underwater into the river. It was known a lot of things couldnt smell you in the river. she hopped Willard would do the same.

Kyouri ran back to her, and hugged her with Parade in one arm. "Whats up." He whispered.

Sorrow was holding Araya, and then she shook. "d*mn.. creatures, gotta ruin everything."

Willard winced.. and then pulled Axie and Kiara out. "you don't need to go in- you'll drown. just sit close to the water- you can't be smelled."

Demetri smiled.. "aww.. your a pretty one, aren't you.."

He held her, and stood there. he didnt feel like moving, but they had too.

Axie shook her head, rapidly. "you wanna bet! if their trackers they will know exactly where we are, like it or not. rivers the only place we can hide, in itself." she paused. "Ill keep us above water." and she slipped back in.

Aviance suddenly gasped as she was hurled into a tree, by an invisible force. She snarled now, her vampire side kicking in. She was angry. She jumped up, ready to fight, holding her sword at the ready. "Come and get me!" She yelled, not afraid to be destroyed.

The baby cooed, and what seemed to be a smile appeared on her face. She seemed less upset now, she was quite young, probably only a few weeks old.

Willard shook his head.. "Axie.." He pulled her out, again. "no.. don't go in the water." He didn't trust the river- he had seen many men drown in it, all who were excellant swimmers. "Aviance has them distracted."

Sorrow started to run, and sat down at the edge of the river.

One of the creatures looked up, sensing the people nearby. it hissed, then said, "There are others... foolish Aviance, you should know that you can't save them. They are nothing compared to the power of the humans, of the darkness that is corrupting the minds of men. They are nothing against the sickness withing their souls!!!"

Aviance said, "I will defeat you!" She lunged forward, lashing at the creatures angrily.

she fought him a bit, and then sighed. "Your stubborn."

He had them in his protective grasp in a second, he would not let go.

Willard licked his lips.. "i have an idea."

Sorrow did as well. "okay.. er, all i need to do.." She started to mutter words, her witchcraft taking in. Their was a barrier around them all, and she smiled.

One of the creatures approached the others, hissing loudly. it wanted to be be heard, it wanted to be feared. It crept forward, its metal clad feet crunching against the ground.

Aivnace kept fighting wildly, trying to find their weak point. She was starting to get frustrated.

The baby gently held one of Demetri's finger, smiling up at him.

Axie looked over at Sorrow, and then back at Willard. "hmn?"

Kyouri didnt feel like letting go, though he knew they had a forcefeild.

Sorrow laughed when the thing was coming, and then made the forcefeild thicker.

Willard sighed.. "witch.."

She licked her lips, and looked around. "Sora and Antoinette....Terra, Everett...what of them?"

The baby suddenly started crying, feeling the prescence of the creatures that killed her mother.

the creature stood at the edge of the force field, it's breath coming as steam. "Give me the children," it hissed, leaning forward menacingly.

Aviance screamed as one of the creatures' daggers sunk into the flesh right below her left collar bone. She winced in pain, squirming slightly. These were poison tipped blades.

Axie spat at it. "You shove off, now."

Sorrow laughed.. "give me a break!" She gave it the finger, and then called Willard over.

Willard stared.. "D*mn you ugly.."

Demetri hugged her tight.. "nonono.."

Kyouri laughed, but he seemed the most nervous. "Amen to that Willard."

Axie shook her head. "And you smell horrible."

The creature snarled and removed its hood, to reveal a misshapen, almost like it was decayed, human face. These creatures were made from the fear in people, and they had sustenance by gaining memories. They also were slaves, no, servants, of the humans. The evil humans, that wanted to destroy the creatures. This creature hissed louder, "Give us the children! Or we will have to kill all of you." Suddenly, it turned toward where Aviance was. "She is falling.... into the darkness."

Aviance lashed back angrily, the pain beginning to grow. It surged through her whole body.

The baby kept crying, her face growing red, tears pouring down her face.
