Axie was walking under some birch when the first crack of thunder hit, causing her to cringe. She held Kiara to her chest and bet a bit, to keep her from getting wet, and felt the first splashes of rain on her face.

"Bad smelling.' She said, flipping the lights on. Praying they works.

they did, pausing for a second and commming on with a hum... it took a second for her to realize what they were in. there were racks and rows of wire , a table in the corner they could see, some insolation...it was like a routing area for phones or somthing. 'High Voltage' was posted on glass surrounding a lot of the wires. She pursed her lips./ "I guess this will have to do..."

The lights, didn't come on in the back corner. that was powered by a different switch, on the other side of the building. Axie sat down at the table, wrinkled her nose again, and looked at some of the unintelligible scribbles on a piece of paper next to the phone.

Willard, didn't trust this place. Why would their be a place like this in the middle of now where? He sat down with her, strokign his son's head.. "this place.." He whispered. "It just, doesn't seem right." He looked at the paper, and picked it up. He tried to read it, but his attempts were to no avail. He sighed and looked up at a light that flickered, and then at the grey walls. It was silence, except for the hum of the aged lights. He tried to shake the feeling of something going wrong off, but it wouldn't fade.

Axie picked up the phone, which was logically dead. Amazing. At least she didn't have anyone to call.

She went through a few notepads, sitting at the side, confused at why a lot of the notes were incomplete- it was like whoever wrote these could never finish their sentance. and it was old, like a few years, at least- there were age stains one the edges of the slips. there was a recite for a gun store, some orange gun range. why would whoever wored her need a gun, she wondered, looking at the side of the building.

Thuinder made her jump here. she didn't like that dark area very much.

Willard tapped on the table, keeping his kid in his shirt. This was strange, and then he had a thought.. "perhaps, us 'mosters' hit this place, humans worked here." He mumbled to Axie, and then looked around. The blank, paint peeling grey walls.. they unnerved him. This place, it was strange and unnerving. He squirmed slightly, wondering.

"Its a thought." she said, crouching into her chair. she ran her thumb along the edge of her fingers. "I don't like..I don't like this place much. It..It smells really bad."

Oh yes, the smell was driving her crazy. And, the more she smelt it, the more it drove her, like the scean of new blood or weak animals, sick people, t made her heart pound. she sweated a bit, then pushed the chair back and got up, setting Kiara down on the table, and making her way over to the darker side. "I'm..I need the lights on." She lied.

Willard picked Kiara up, and put her in his jacket too. "okay.." he whispered. He could tell what was happening to Axie, he just shook his head.

She touched the side of the third row of wires, and swayed a bit. she had absolutely no idea what to expect in the dark, this place (like so to Willard) unnerved her, made her feel like something was going to jump out, and then she went into the dark. it was a minuet before they came on, and a mighty long time before he came back with a pale face and shallow breathing.

She sat down stiffly, and leaned on Willard. "don't go over there. " She said quietly.
