Willard looked at her, biting his lip.. "why... why do you think that?" his voice was a little high, and he sounded like he might bust out crying.

Axie looked at him sympatheticly, sorry he had asked and she told him the truth. "...honestly...look at me..I'm a mess..." She said. "....I'm a....mutation, to say the least.....I have suffered through and endured a lot more than I should be able to....my number should have been up when that guy shot me." She said, her voice was surprisingly steady.

Willard hugged her.. "i.. hope.. not.." he said, starting to cry. "I don't want you to go.. i love you too much. I'll do anything.. to keep you alive." He said, his voice was high.. the tears fell down his cheeks.

She hugged him back and let some of the tears fall on her. "...I dont want to leave you either...' She whispered. "....You know that....I wouldn't want to end without you....its not my choice..."
