Lise said, "It was good, daddy! I had a dream about rainbows! And fluffy kittens!"

Marie said, "I slept very well, thank you." She kissed him softly, then got up and slipped out of her nightgown. "What should I wear today?"

Demetri smiled, thinking about how his daughter shifted from tomboy to girly girl in a blink of the eye. "That's great!"

"Pants!" He grinned.

Cherish it, it goes by so fast.

Lise finished eating, then climbed onto Demetri's lap. "I love you daddy," she said softly, hugging him as tight as she could.

Marie looked back at him and made a soft 'tsk' sound. "Pants? Why, they aren't ladylike at all! Besides, I much prefer dresses, anyway. Help me choose which one I should wear today. Please?"

"I love you too." He wiped her mouth a little with a napkin, and then kissed her forehead.

"Gah, fine. But I still think pants are the better choice. Now what are the options?"

Lise beamed up at him, then said, "What are we gonna do today, daddy?"

Marie said, "Well... just... imagine a dress you'd like to see me in today. I can use my magic to make it appear."

"Hmmn... Maybe we'll go picking flowers, huh guys? I want a nice vase of flowers."

Lise nodded happily and said, "I like flowers a lot! But I don't like the bees. They try to chase me and sting me!"

Same here, but had a scary experience today. My great grandma was choking on tomato today.

"No worries- there are no bees in winter. These are the winter flowers, Lise." He kissed her forehead. "The pretty ones- pretty like daddy Frex's hair." He looked at Frexspar, his cheeks a little pink. He gave him a smile, and then grabbed Frexspar's hand.

Is she all right?

Lise nodded mutely, then took Frexspar's other hand. "Daddy Frexy, is daddy right? Are you sure there aren't any bees to come after me?"

"I promise there aren't darling," Frexspar said, scooping Lise up and placing her on his hip. "And if there were, I wouldn't let them get you. Besides, they're scared of you, too!"

She's fine now, thank god. I hate the people who answer the phone for 911 though.

Demetri went and sat on Frexspar's lap too. "The bees aren't always mean. If you don't bother them, they won't bother you. But its too cold for them now, so they won't be out."

Frexspar laughed and said, "Have I suddenly become a chair, my lovelies?" He kissed both Lise and Demetri on the cheek, then held them close to himself.

They like to play 20 questions and are rude. It should be a simple "whats wrong, whats the address".

"I got jealous." Demetri joked, kissing Frexspar beneath the chin.

Frexspar laughed aloud, then nuzzled his face against Demetri's. "You're being just as silly as Lise! No need to be jealous, honey. You both have my undivided attention, equally."

And then it took them 20 minutes to get here. Go figure.

Demetri threw his arms around Frexspar's neck, and then began to whisper in his ear. "You know, starting tomorrow, I'm going to break you. You're going to become the girly one here- I swear to it. I'm going back to my original intentions."

Holy crud!

Frexspar patted his head and whispered, "Nice to know, my pet. It will be very entertaining to see how that goes." He playfully tickled under Demetri's chin, chuckling from deep in his chest. "Let's go get those flowers!" He got to his feet, taking Demetri and Lise by the hand.

Demetri grinned, "I'll be victorious. Just you wait."

Frexspar just shrugged and grinned back at him, murmuring, "We'll see, we'll see."

Demetri smacked Frexspar's bottom. "I know the outcome already. You need not wait and see- I'll turn you into my wife."

Pretty good. Stressful, but hey, it's college!

Frexspar laughed out loud, then hoisted Lise onto his shoulders and ran towards the field. Lise squealed with delight, waving her hands in the air. "Run faster!"
