Aviance smiled and said, "I think he gets that after you... Oh.. um.... thank you. For being there for me, earlier. Not only when Oliver was coming, but when me and Frexspar talked. It means a lot to me."

Oliver reached out his little arms to Alli, yawning.

Frexspar said, "What would you like to do now?" He looked around and noticed Lise and Kiara playing together. It made him happy, to see her interacting with another child.

Alli smiled gently, and gently held Oliver's hand in his. "I love you- theres no need for a thanks."

"They look like they are getting close." Demetri smiled gently.

Aviance said, "But I want to thank you anyway. So I will." She kissed his cheek, then put Oliver in his arms. "He's going to be so handsome when he grows up."

Frexspar nodded cheerfully, wrapping his arms around Demetri. "I'm glad. She needs a female friend in her life."

Alli propped his arm so Oliver's head was upright. "Most definately. This reminds me of when I was young, holding my sister..." He stopped talking, his eyes thoughtful as he stared down at Alli.

Oliver yawned, burrowing into Alli's chest, completely content to rest in his father's warmth.

Aviance reached out, placing a hand on Alli's shoulder. "What was she like," she asked quietly, with a loving gaze. "Tell me all about her."

Frexspar said, "Just like I needed people in my life. And I could not ask for more." He stroked Demetri's hair, then kissed his forehead.

"She actually looked like him, minus the not too tan skin, and bright hair. She grew up to be a beautiful little girl."

Demetri curled up in his arms, letting out a little squeak by accident.

Aviance quietly said, "So... what was her personality like? Would she have liked me, do you think?"

you see, i have very... very... critical friends.

they're so rude to me at times, that i'm scared.

"I think she would've loved you." Alli nodded. "She was a bright child- had skills for basketball and history. She wanted to be a teacher when she was older."

"Am I?" Demetri whispered, his eyes shutting tightly.

They should be a bit more supportive, I think. I understand that maybe they want to be honest, but... really, there's no need to be rude to your friends.

If they're rude to you about it, just ignore it. I bet it looks good!

Aviance said, "So... what happened to her? You don't have to tell me, I mean, but... I just wondered." She twiddled her fingers, watching as Oliver tried to pull at her hair.

Frexspar murmured, "Of course. Why, that part of what attracts me to you. You can be handsome and saucy at one moment, then you'll be adorable and vulnerable the next."

Aviance put her arms around him, trying to be comforting. "Hush love....you don't have to say anything else. You're getting upset.." Oliver managed to grasp a lock of hair in his hand, then yanked on it, causing Aviance to blink.

Frexspar whispered, "You're being very adorable right now, actually." He kissed Demetri's cheek lovingly.

"Am I? But what do you want me to be right now?"

Aviance murmured, "No... don't thank me. I love you, and I'm always going to help you. I want to be here for you, always."

Oliver kept yanking at Aviance's hair, making soft squeaking sounds at her.

Frexspar said, "Deedee, I just want you to be yourself. I won't ask for more than that."

i've been told i remind the people who have seen my hair of that one chick on MTV- My Life as Liz or something. I take that as a compliment.

Alli smiled gently, "he likes hair."

"I want you to whisper to me." Demetri whispered. "And hold me."

Aviance scrunched up her face and said, "So I've noticed." But then she had to smile, as Oliver eyed it with fascination. It was so vivid and bright, it was like he was transfixed.

Frexspar whispered, "Okay, love. I can do that for you." He pulled Demetri onto his lap, pressing his love firmly against himself.
