Aviance finished feeding Oliver, then sat down on their little makeshift bed, patting the spot next to her while cradling Oliver in her other arm.

Aviance smiled and cuddled close to him, holding Oliver so he could see both of his parents. "I love you, Alli."

Frexspar took Demetri's hand and led him outside. "You never cease to amaze me, love."

"How so?" Demetri asked, smiling.

Aviance kissed his chin, then said to Oliver, "And you love daddy just as much, don'tcha."

Oliver just stared up at Aviance, seeming to recognize her voice.

Sasha sighed. "I wish the village was closer. I don't mind the walking, but I've wanted to go there ever since I've heard about it."

Demetri cuddled into Frexspar's side, waiting for a response.

Aviance giggled and said, "I think he just likes the fact that he can place something with the voice he's been hearing for a while now."

Oliver yawned, cuddling against Aviance and looking up at Alli sleepily.

Frexspar said, "You helped my sister and her husband. You kept her going, thank you."
