Aviance felt like someone had punched her in the face, but she nodded, and sat down, burying her face in her hands.

"It's a blessing." Anja smiled. "To ward off the tears."

Alli bit his lip, "I'd rather you be safe..." He whispered. "I'm sorry."

"Oh." He laughed. He was still deciding on if he should tell her about Kira.

Aviance nodded mutely, her hands still covering her face. "If something happens to you while you're away... I won't be able to go on without you."

"You are thinking?" Anja blinked, and then poked his nose.

Alli sighed, "as it would be for me, if you suddenly vanished."

Metax laughed. "Can you read minds?" He asked, nervously.

Aviance got to her feet, and took Alli's hands in his. "Only death could make me stop waiting for you."

"No." Anja smiled. "But I read faces and eyes well."

Alli blushed, "You're serious about me, huh..." He closed his eyes, and small smile formed. "I'm glad.'

Aviance smiled, and reached up to touch his face. "I've missed being like this. I still can't believe you're back. It's made me so happy."

Metax sighed in relief. He was thinking. He looked at Anja and smiled.

Anja blinked, "its troubling you, yes?"

Alli smiled, "I'm glad you are so happy."

"Nothing, it's just that I have a bad feeling." He sighed.

Aviance kissed him, then sat down, gently pulling him to sit beside her. "What would you like to do?"

"About what?" Anja asked.

"Some food. I would like to eat." Alli nodded.

Metax just blushed.

"Anything in particular? I could go scrounge up something. I was about to hunt when you returned, anyway."

She grabbed his face, bringing it closer to hers. "You are red. Sick?"

Alli smiled, "Bird please?"

"I have a feeling..." He said, looking down. His voice became a whisper. "That I might fall in love with you."

Aviance nodded, then spread her wing, ruffling her feathers out, before she jumped into the air, and flew upward, using her keen eyesight to scope out any possible game.

She blushed herself, "thats something... that can't be predicted. But, I beleive you." She stroked his hair.

Alli watched her in the sky, and smiled. He loved how she was so... Different.
