Willard kissed his chin, "I see." He whispered. "You're much more aggresive than I ever expected- I like it." He smiled.

Jade quietly said to Croy, "Thank you, for not doubting me. I-- well, truth be told, I'm not always the most polite, or the most calm. But your approval means the world to me." She smiled slightly and added, "I know, I should be looking for myself, the way I think I should be, but.. you're smart, and insightful, and I feel like I can trust you with anything, and everything you say to me just makes sense."

"Maybe Im just lonely." He whispered. "I mean... I've never felt these things before. Not for anyone, or anything. Just you."

Croy shrugged. "You can take what you want out of what I tell you. Not everything I say is going to be correct, or even remotely so- All I can give you is my most honest opinions."

"Then show me these feelings." He whispered. "What ever they tell you to do, to say..."

He shook his head weakly. "...Not yet." He whispered.

Willard smiled gently, "and why not?" He whispered.

"Because I don't feel good." He murmured. "When I'm strong again, I promise."

"Okay love~" Willard whispered.

"If I ever get better, that is." His eyes closed as he spoke the words, only just leaving his lips.

Willard bit his lips. "I promise you... You will."

"Sometimes, I just don't know." He murmured.

"You just have to remain relaxed and let your body heal."

"Things don't work out that way sometimes." He sighed.

Jade cuddled close to Croy, becoming silent again, thinking. She started humming very quietly, a very simple tune , and closed her eyes.

"...You told me how you have a healer where you come from, once. You said I could go to him, and he would make me better for good."

He ran his fingers through her hair, unsure of what to say.

"But thats after the escape, you know?"

"...But you would have to get me out of here. Cant I just come with you?"

"You are coming with me, we just need you to heal a little better."
