Isaac blinked. "What are the options?"

Sora looked at Dani. "He dies, and we do surgery after death to make him a guy again. Another one- we rush the process to a girl, and then back to a boy, and risk him changing again, or we rush it now and stop it while we can. And he remains a girl."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"If you could rush him twice so that he remains a guy, could you not stop it there? What would prevent it?" Kyouri called down. "Letting him die could prove risky."

Sora bit his lip. "It's a difficult thing. He might go unstable if we rush to process more than once. We could try making him a guy again."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

Kyouri bit his lip. "If you let him die.... could I at least tell him something?"

"He's not going to die, but if you want to say it, go ahead."

Isaac watched, curious.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"Well, if you let him die to operate on him, its a risky business." He huffed. "He could very well not come back."

"We're not using that procedure." He said. "We're going to try rushing the process, rather than surgery."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

He nodded, and leaned away from the entrance, quiet.

"Say what you want to him, Kyouri. Hurry."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

Kyouri hesitated, the slid down to join the crowed. Slowly, he made his way over to Dani, and just sort of hung over him a second.

Sora and Isaac watched, carefuly.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"...Dani?" He cocked his head to the side, wondering if the boy could hear him. "I... well. I came because I want to tell you something. And I... umm... Im sorry. I apologize for being so rude to you. For driving you away when I was angry."

Both Sora and Isaac smiled gently, watching this.

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"A lot of people like you, you know. My daughter, and Sora and Isaac and Sorrow. Terra likes you, and Jeremy likes you, and all the kids feel comfortable around you. And we want to keep you around, okay? So, please, accept my apology, and stay with us."

Sorrow giggled, "Good Kyouri. We'll make sure he stays around." And now her and Sora went to work, to save Dani.

Kyouri, flustered and a bit embarrassed, scrambled back up to the top of the hole and decided he was to tired to stay awake anymore.

Isaac climbed up after him, because he couldn't watch what they were going to put Dani through. He yawned, and sat beside Kyouri.

Kyouri opened one eye, and glanced at him slowly. "...What are you thinking?"

"About what? I'm thinking of my lovely Dani."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

"He'll be okay." He murmured. "He's lasted this long."
