Willard smiled. You are not an evil man, but you are not weak. You fight for the right cause- equality for humans and creatures. I say it again, equaity. You are a strong, and moral person. You are kind. I beleive in you.

Willard wasn't done yet. I'm sorry, but we're not finished. You need to remember one thing. We're all god's creatures- the human isn't that normal either. How many animal's have thumbs? How many animals can be... As unique? We're all the same, somewhere along the lines. You too, are a creature. Willard snapped his fingers, making the guy pass out, and set him on his chair. He listend to his thoughts still, reading them, making sure.

Catalin crept up beside Willard, careful not to touch him, and break his concentraition.

The man wasnt thinking of much in his sleep. But for once, what little thoughts he had... were clear. Even more surprising, they were not of revenge or violence.

Willard stroked his hair. Oh, one more thing, lose the accent. He erased some more memories of Willard, and then took Catalin's hand, turning invisible. He turned around, and with his mind, jammed and broke the gun on the inside, as a precatuion.

And so the overseer was subdued in his own office, overpowered by his own hate. And Catalin, excited and overjoyed, clung to Willard as if all this would disappear in a second.

(wait, does that mean he didn't change?)

Willard held Catalin close, waiting just a few more moments.

(No, he changed. Hes all rainbows and butterflies now. Willards got some scary powers, man.)

"Thank you..." He whispered.

Willard nodded, and then picked Cat up, carrying him back.

Catalin snuggled close to him, closing his eyes.

Willard snuck back into Vinn's, looking around.

No one was in the apartment floor, at all. They mus have been downstairs.

Now Willard was afraid. He flew down the stairs with Catalin in his arms, as quick as possible, trying to find everyone.

The girls were all in their cages, fortunatly, and they seemed unharmed- the door to Avars room was open, and light spilled into the laboratory.

Willard silently approached the room, careful of anything that could attack.

Everything was okay- Vinn had patched up the side of his face that had been split open, and Axie seemed to be tending to Avar, who had a large bloody bandage over his head. She quickly noticed Willard, though, and grinned when she saw Catalin was in his arms- "Mission successful?"

Willard nodded. "I... Changed the Overseer. And he doesn't remember this incident. He's alive, so no bounty either. A true success."

Vinn looked at him oddly, "What do you mean, changed?"

Avar opened his good eye, trying to take in what was going on.

"He's no longer a vicious ape, he thinks more clearly, and he has more compassion. I brainwashed him."

 

[Self:.:Pity]

Vinn shook his head, saying nothing.

Avar sat up, though, and looked in willards direction- though, he looked unfocused. Axie gave him a look, an he said, quietly, "Is Cat okay?"
