He petted her. "Where our grandchildren?"

"Playing with all the other kids." She smiled.

"Thats good." He murmured. "Luneth hardly ever plays with anyone but his sister, and sometimes Parade. And he always stops after just a little bit."

"I feel bad for that boy." She whispered. "The crying..."

"It breaks my heart." He whispered. He meant it. "I just... I feel like he will never be the same."

"Sometimes I feel that he'll be messed up when he gets older."

"I can see it in him." He murmured. "All it takes is a push... And he will tumble over the edge."

Elda looked at her grandson. "He's a cute kid though."

"I love him to death." He murmured. "And hes smart. But... But hes been damaged."

"Do you think it'll heal when his parents return?"

 

[++ Necromancer]

He paused for a long time, mulling the question. "As much as I hope that will happen, I think... I think that there will always be a part of him that resembles what we see in him now."

Elda looked at Jeremy, and then at her grandson. "He looks a lot like you."

"And Axie." He said. "They both look a lot like me."

Elda nodded. "The three of you are twins. As Giovanni, Willard, and Kiara are."

 

[++ Necromancer]

He nodded. "I can see it." He smiled. "At least I know I will not be forgotten."

Elda shook her head. "You will never be forgotten, because you'll never leave us." She whispered. "My question- why did you fall for Gio?"

He shrugged. "Well, I could ask you the same thing, couldnt I?" He teased.

Elda laughed, "But really, I never knew you swung that way."
