By this time, though, Jackson was sleeping- it was something he did as often as possible.
"Well, your going to kill her." He whispered. "I suppose youve heard me talk about that? She sgoing to di-"
"Its to late for you." She said, quietly, suddenly. All her emeotions suddenly drained away, and her voice was hollow. She was not sobbing, she was just there. "It is to late for you. It is to late for me. The damage is done."
He looked slightly disturbed. "What do you mean?"
"You have succumbed to your emotions like I have mine, to a human... or is it two, for you? You have let them in and so it is to late for you. You are selfish, though, Croy, that I know, and see- You do not want to become mortal, or die. But you dont want to be alone. So you will take me too, even though I have opened my heart to mortals and it is to late for me. You love someone, but you love yourself more, and you are dying because of it."
He was silent.
"I will not die like you. But if I do, at least he will know I loved him more then myself. I will not go with you, croy, and I am sorry I reject you like Sunne did so many years ago- I am not like him- But I dont want to go. So, good bye, you. Croy. May y-"
She was cut off when he let out a shriek, a deafaning one, to shatter all that is around. Tettra covered Nathaniels ears and it, for one reason or another, muffled the sounds- but trees shattered and fell, and two animals dropped dead from them, visably. When this shriek died off, he yelled in some language, to Tettra again, and she seemed to recover her emotions and sobbed again.
