Toby was wandering around, yelling his sister's name, over and over. He had been stumbling around all that night, and his voice was growing hoarse. "JADE!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?" He finally stopped and sat down. He tried to call to her, through his mind. But all he could hear was white noise. It was horrible, agonizing, almost in a physical sense. He was dirty, hair unkempt, clothes torn and going ragged. He was too distraught to think things through clearly. And, whoever-- whatever-- had taken her had managed to cover their track completely. It was as if she had vanished out of thin air.

Jade stared up at the tiled on the ceiling, a thousand thoughts all blended together, becoming convaluded. She couldn't think straight at all. She twitched absentmindedly, then grit her teeth together, the pain returning. Her eyes rolled back in her head a slightly, and she let out a choking gasp. Right now, she was not sure whether to beg for death or not.
