Kuro listened to the spider howl in pain once more. One more blast and he would be done for. He just hoped he wouldn't be getting bug juice all over him.

Lovelitchi hit the spider with one more energy blast. The monster started to shake violently."Hime,I think we'll need a shield."She ran back towards her friends.

Len quickly made his way back to the group, dodging the hairs that had stuck in the ground. He noticed out of the corner of his eye that the tarantula monster was sending one more giant hair straight at them. "Hime! Hurry! Make a shield!"

Hime panicked from the sudden request. She threw her hands out and began to concentrate on forming a shield, when the last giant hair was launched through the air by the monster-spider. "Huggggh...!" A wet sound escaped Hime's mouth. Her eyes were wide, completely in shock. She coughed out blood onto the floor, then began to fall towards the ground. The hair had been slowed down slightly by her half-formed barrier, but it managed to break through and spear her through the lower torso.

Reacting quickly, Len was right at Hime's side. "H-Hime!!" Quickly trying to calm down and think, Len turned to Kuro. "Kuro! Heal her fast! Hurry!" He pulled the hair out with his hands, struggling for a minute but finally dislodging it from Hime's torso, and tossing it to the side.

Lovelitchi sat on the floor next to Hime."Hime?"She blinked back tears. Now she was trully afraid of spiders.

Kuro gasped. "Hime!" Tears were running down his face. He took a big to calm himself down. He put his hands infront of him and watched the wound close slowly, which wasn't fast enough. Kuro choked.

(Sorry about the somewhat late reply I'm on vacation again)

Hime was now semi-conscious. She tilted her head until she was looking at Len, and tried to tell him something. But she was still in shock, and she wasn't able to make a sound. Tears started falling from her eyes. It can't end this way...it can't... She thought as her eyes began to cloud over.

"It's going to be okay Hime." Kuro said kindly. The wound was still closing slowly, but it wasn't bleeding as much anymore. The poison would of almost be all gone too. Kuro fought back more tears. Whenever he saw little Hime cry, especially in these circumstances, it made him want to cry too.

Hime felt her pain fade away as the wound finally closed up and the last of the poison was dealt with. She sighed gratefully, then fell into a deep sleep. She was exhausted. Across the room, the creature was dead at last. It started to fade away.

Lovelitchi stood up and looked at where the spider had stood."Maybe it attacked us because...there was something behind it that it was protecting?"She questioned.

**timeskip to that night (around 6 PM)**

Hime opened her eyes and sat up slowly. She was in her room on her tatami mat. She listened and could hear people talking in the house. It seemed that her friends had taken her home and were waiting for her to wake up. Hime looked at herself, realizing that she was in her kimono. Hime lived in a traditional Japanese household; her family lived in a traditional Japanese home, they used proper honorifics, and the women always wore kimonos while at home. Her father (PapaGozarutchi) was a very strict man, and he was always busy with his job as a TamaWay director. Her mother, MamaShigurehimetchi, stayed at home. Hime's younger sister, Sakuramotchi, was in the same grade and best friends with Kingyobatchi (Miku's little sister.) Hime's older brother, Gozarutchi, was a college student. Hime's grandfather, Ojitchi (everyone in the family calls him Oji-chan), lived in the household with them. Hime stood up on her tatami, smoothed out her kimono, put her indoor slippers on, and opened the fusuma to her bedroom. The fusuma was a sliding door which led to the rouka (wooden-floored hallway) that followed the edge of her home. She walked gracefully down the rouka, and then opened another fusuma, stepping into the ima (living room) where everyone was talking. Hime bowed to her mother and grandfather, who were in the room as well. "Hello mother, hello Oji-chan."

"HIME-CHAN!!!!" Sakuramotchi came running into the ime, nearly tripping over her little kimono before glomping her older sister. Hime giggled, hugging her sister tightly. "Be careful, Sakura-chan! You don't want to rip your new kimono, do you?"

While Hime was passed out, Len had helped carry her to her home, with the help of Kuro and Lovelin. When he heard she woke up, he was relieved. Walking over to her and her sister, he said, "Thank god, you're alright!"

Kuro had just finished convincing Hime's parents the lie he came up with. "Oh Hime, thank goodness you're awake! I was so worried! That bump on the head must of really hurt." He winked at Hime. Her parents were suspicious since there wasn't even a lump, but Kuro covered that up by saying Lovelitchi had "put ice on it".

Hime grinned. "Thanks guys!" She put Sakuramotchi down, then hesitated; she wasn't a very good liar. "Uh, yeah...it hurt a bunch! But I feel better now." MamaShigurehimetchi walked up and gave Hime a big hug. "Thank goodness! You were out cold, poor dear. I'll go make us some sakuramochi." Sakuramotchi clapped gleefully; sakuramochi was her favorite snack. When MamaShigurehimetchi left the ima with Sakuramotchi following her, Ojitchi wobbled over on his cane. He looked Hime in the eyes. "I didn't buy it for a second. You kids are keeping something from Hime's mother and me, aren't ya?" Hime sighed; Oji-chan's wisdom was hard to get around.
