That happens to me too, I find it hard to get to sleep.
If you have been staring at a screen for a long time, you will not be able to sleep. Perhaps you should do what I do to avoid that - get any deeds on the computer done before 20:30, then I have my shower, have my supper, get my stuff ready for the next day, and then get to bed.
Now I find it harder to sleep because it is getting warmer, and although I love the heat during the day, I find it impossible at night. All I can suggest is to find a way to sleep that will keep you comfortable and cool at the same time. Take off some bedclothes, or if you have a fan or A/C, put it on for a while to cool down the room. I often have to take my pyjamas to sleep well, but at least I get to sleep before.
As for the music, you could try putting on a CD with 'relaxing songs', and see if that nods you off faster. Or of course, you can just think of the latest thing you have done in history class, and I am sure that will get you to sleep fast.
