I seriously think I have this disease thing or whatever it is o.o

It seems impossible for me to get to sleep -.-

When I feel tired on the PC, I decided to get off and lay in bed. Then I seem wide awake and I cant get to sleep. When I do it is like 2 or 3 am, then when I wake up I seem wide awake but I lay in bed a bit because I feel like it. Is that me or that Insomnia thing?

don't worry, seriosly, that happens to me.

not like you got a mouse disease.

count holes in a swiss cheese slice.

see if that works.

maybe its that your brain gets tired of the computer.

It's because you're on the computer right before bed.

Try and get off an hour before you plan to sleep.

Even when I am not on the PC it happens, it seems impossible to get to sleep even when Im not just off my PC.

And if you have read a topic I had in late 2006, I posted that I wake up sweating for no apparent reason, it still happens on occasion

I tend to read until my eyelids get heavy, that helps-at least, it makes me tired... maybe you could try that?

Insomnia ain't fun... <_<

Neither is staring at the wall all night. Hahhah.

But depending on how long this has been going on, you might be OK.

Remember, everyone gets sleeping troubles once in a while.

Try Aromatherapy. The relaxing smell of lavender body mist on my pillow puts me to sleep...

A nice, hot bubble bath soothes your muscles and relaxes your body.

If you are still having sleeping troubles, talk to your Doctor.

He knows much more than I do... XD

A sleeping aid like Lunesta might help you sleep.

Very good advice! But, remember, only use a sleeping aid if you really, really need to. As they say on the commercials the sleeping aid may "Have some risk of dependancy." You don't want to have to use it to sleep for the rest of your life, do you?

I have insomnia too. It's gotten better over the past two years, but I still have trouble staying asleep. (For me, it used to be that I had the most trouble going to sleep, and then I would wake up three times throughout the night. Now, I can usually go to sleep within two hours, but I wake up countless times throughout the night, and then wake up for good at 6:00, even though my alarm goes off at 7:00.)

I think you're totally right.

Never take a sleeping aid unless you really need it.

Sleeping aids can give you nasty side effects sometimes...

But it's totally worth it.

Stick with the lavender for a while, and see how it goes.

I find that it's really effective. <_<

The only way I can go to sleep is listening to Japanese music, I fall asleep but then I wake up around 5 am, fall asleep then wake up with my alarm. Then I am really drowsy and practically smash my radio alarm if I cant take it o.o

I sometimes do that- wake up then finaly get to sleep, then wake up for school.

Very annoying. @.@

I don't think you actualy have insomnia, but it wouldn't hurt to check with a doctor or at least a school nurse. ;]

That school nurse aint worth crap, I broke a Ligament before and she did nothing except give me a Ice pack, she refused to give me a Elevator pass when my class is on the 3rd floor! One time I broke my tooth and she said "Sorry nothin I can do" And who can forget the time I spit up blood!? She wasnt there but instead at Lunch! I came back and she still wasnt there!

The Sleepy thing happens rarely. I cant sleep at all, I wake up at numerous times of the night sweaty XP

Well, talk to your mom about seeing a doctor about it then.

Next time you can't get to sleep, try brewing a cup of tea- that's what I do and it always makes me feel better. x3

The Healing Garden is great!

You can find it a Macy's, Walmart, and Walgreens.

Best of all, it's not too expensive

That happens to me all the time! I'm thinking I have the disease to. My mom says it's the flashing lights that make your eyes tired. When I watch TV or play the computor in the dark I can barely stay awake and then when I try to sleep I can't till 2 or 3 am.

Try drinking a glass of warm milk and a banana before. It's supposed to make you tired.

I have insomnia x.x It sucks. The only ways I can sleep are either by taking trazodone(sleeping pills) before sleep, or staying up for about 2-3 days straight and waiting until my body gives out >.<'
