Yeah, I can actually get on and do it now and not make it feel like a chore.

"I like calling you baby. It really makes me feel like you're really mine," Asher said softly, gently caressing the skin on her back subconsciously. "And, equally, I like to hear you call me baby. Because I like to know you think I belong to you.." He sighed softly, a mixture of content and fatigue.

Lucy smiled and let out a soft sigh of happiness, then yawned loudly. "I'm sorry... I'm so tired," she breathed, rubbing her eyes slightly. She pulled the covers over the pair, letting out another sigh at how warm they were. "Do you need to take your meds?" She asked softly, resting on one elbow so she could look at him.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Yeah =D

So, how are you?

Asher chuckled and said, "That's okay, I am, too." He nodded and leaned the other way, to where his small bag had been left on the floor containing his meds and a bottle of water, keeping one arm around her all the while. There were a lot of them, in many shapes and sizes and he swallowed them one by one. That in itself took a few minutes, and then he rolled back over and held her in both arms once again.

Really tired, but good. All of this school prep is wearing me out!

Lucy stirred when Asher put his other arm around her, and she looked around sleepily. "Oh! I guess I dozed while you were taking your meds... Sorry." She chuckled weakly, then yawned again. "Hm... I love you so much, Asher. If I don't get to tell you before I drift off... you know..." She yawned again. "Sweet dreams, baby." She smiled at him, reaching up a hand to brush the hair from his face.

"Oh, no, I'm sorry, if I woke you. I didn't realise," Asher chuckled softly. He was already feeling the effects of the meds on him, making his eyelids feel heavy, his body light, and he was beginning to lose feeling in it. "I love you, too, Lucy. Sleep well, baby. Thank you for another wonderful day." He laid his head down on his pillow and yawned quietly.

I've heard it before! Another band did this song, for The Secret life of the American Teenager

Lucy fell asleep quickly, smiling slightly as she did so, completely enveloped in Asher's arms. She felt so much better sleeping when she was like that with him, because it was much more comfortable. Plus, sleeping alone had been very difficult for her. There was too much room on the bed when she was alone.

I only found out just now that it's a cover, but she rewrote it with a guitar solo and stuff. Interesting..

Asher had no trouble falling asleep. The morphine in the meds quickly pulled him into a deep sleep. So deep, in fact, that he didn't experience an attack at all, for the whole night, which was wonderful. In fact, he slept totally undisturbed way into the morning.

The next morning, Lucy woke up and stretched slightly, cracking her joints quietly. She looked over at Asher and smiled, then held very still, smiling slightly. She didn't want to wake Asher up, not at all. She gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

I typed the address wrong. I knew I'd written a V and not a W, but I didn't listen xD Try it now

Asher didn't even feel Lucy stir as she woke up, or when she kissed his cheek, totally out for the count, as it were. He stayed exactly as he was, totally motionless except for his breathing-- almost comatose in state.

Hahaha, okay, I'll try it now!

Lucy sighed softly and smiled, knowing that, even though he wasn't awake, he wasn't in pain. She felt that was the most important thing at the moment. Slowly, she climbed out of his arms, then went to take a shower, singing softly to herself as she did. She turned on the water, then waited for it to warm up, running her fingers through her hair.

And, the verdict?

About five minutes after Lucy had gotten up, Asher murmured something incomprehensible in his sleep, then rolled onto his back. Slowly, his eyes opened, his breathing quickening slightly, and he yawned quietly. A whole night undisturbed by nightmares. The first in months. He smiled to himself and then became aware of the shower running. He sat up and called to Lucy, "Good morning, baby."

"Good morning," Lucy called from the shower as she rubbed herself down with soap. "How are you feeling?" She, of course, had slept great throughout the whole night. After hours of driving, and a nice goodnight kiss, Lucy had been all too willing to sleep like a rock. And Asher hadn't woken up, at least, not that she knew of, so she figured he must have slept well too. That thought alone made her happy.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Good I was belting it out around the house this morning xD

"..Good, actually, thank you. I slept the whole night.. No nightmares or anything," Asher replied, running an hand back through his hair. He wondered if maybe he had, he'd just forgotten or something, because he couldn't quite believe that he had slept completely undisturbed. "How did you sleep?" he asked, slipping out of bed.

YES!! I do that a lot, too.

"I slept well," Lucy replied, rinsing herself off and starting to shampoo her hair, smiling widely. "I'm really glad you had a good night's sleep. I was worried initially, to be honest. You need to get your rest, after all, and the nightmares don't help." She started singing to herself, making up a song on the spot, and it didn't sound half bad. She'd have to remember to write it down.

It's amazing. I like singing in the kitchen; it has great acoustics because of the tiled floor. And, actually, I can sing better than I realised

"I was worried, too. Especially being in a motel. I mean, I don't think anyone would be best pleased to hear anything like the attack from the other night.." Asher said. He was most worried, though, about his mother hearing him. His father would deal with it, calm him, stay calm on the outside. But his mother would surely go crazy with grief, which wouldn't help things at all, he didn't want to hurt her.

I figured you sang better than you let on

Lucy said, "If you want, when we get to your house, I'll stay in the same room as you. That way, in case you have an episode, I'll be right there to comfort you. Seeing as you might have one at home, and that wouldn't be good." She rinsed the sampoo out of her hair, then let out a yelp as she got soap in her eyes. "Ouch!"

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Haha, don't get your hopes up too high xD

"Well, I mean, it's not a problem, wherever you'd like to stay. I mean, it's not far to my room, in any case. But if you want to then, yes, you can stay in my room," Asher said. He pulled his boxers on in the meantime, while she was having her shower. "Are you okay?" He called to her, when she yelped.

Lucy said, "I'm fine! i just got some shampoo in my eyes!" She whimpered slightly until she finally washed it out, then put some conditioner in her hair. "I think I'm fine now, Asher. Anyway, back to our conversation, I think I'd like to stay in your room, anyway. I didn't get to see it the last time I was at your parents' house, and it'll be nice to see you in your element." She laughed lightly, waiting for the conditioner to soak in a bit.

O: A guy from a band on Myspace today said he'd listened to my track. He said I was a great guitarist and genuinely hopes and thinks I should get signed soon! How amazing is that?

"Okay, so long as you're alright," Asher called in reply, fumbling through his bag for something to eat. He settled on a banana, it being the healthy option. He chuckled and said, "It's probably still the same as it was before I left, in the hope I'd return to it soon."

Lucy rinsed out her hair, then turned the water off and grabbed a towel. She dried off a bit, then wrapped the towel around herself, singing loudly. She came out of the bathroom and reached into the bag, grabbing a banana as well. "When i was a little girl, bananas were my favorite fruit, but we never bought them often. I liked them because they matched my hair, which was a lot lighter when I was younger."
