Yeah? Howcome?

"I love them, and I know they love me. I can say I only wish that they'd have realised before they thought I had died-- because if I had, then there wouldn't be much good in it. But, despite that, I am glad, and I wouldn't ever hold it against them that they previously hadn't been as supportive as I'd liked. They're my parents, they were doing what they thought was best for me at the time. And now I'm sure they love you, too. How couldn't they?" Asher replied in agreement, smiling at the thought of seeing his parents again. "I miss them. Just like I missed you. They won't believe anything of what's happened tonight. I know I'm finding it hard to grasp.." He kissed her in return, pulling her close, into his lap, pressing her against his chest, equally passionate, letting it go on until he had to pull away with a need to breath. He put a hand up to her cheek now, cupping her face in it and just whispered, "My fiance.. I can't believe it."

my mommy cooked tuna casserole

Lucy murmured, "I can't believe it either... if you hadn't come back, I would have resigned myself to the life of a lonely girl. I could never fall in love again, not after losing two people I fell in love with. It was so overwhelming when I got the letter. You don't understand how completely lost I was after that... and I realized I couldn't live my life without you. It was so wrong, the world suddenly became a place I hated. I hated New York, and everything about it. You're what makes this city wonderful. And when I left, I had hoped I would find some refuge, that I could hide from my problems. But it just got worse and worse, to the point where I just couldn't talk anymore."

Can't say I've ever tried it. Is it like tuna chucks like you get in the tin? The idea of that hot seems strange to me.

Sorry for the Facebook fail, by the way D:

"I was worried about you. When I found out I'd been mistaken for dead while I was in hospital, that they'd sent the letter to you, I was distraught. They wouldn't let me call you or write to you because I was in such a bad way, and I was so angry and afraid. I know I told you in that letter that I wanted you to carry on with your life without me. But I was worried you wouldn't listen, because if it had been me in the situation, I know I maybe wouldn't have.." Asher said to her. "And I knew when I got here that I had to do this now, because no other time was close enough or seemed right."

It's a lot better than when they're cold xD

It's okay! =)

Lucy said, "I'm so glad I didn't do what I had first intended. I was planning on driving to the Brooklyn Bridge, and I was going to jump. I went to every place that you and I had had a picture of us together taken, and this was the one I saved for last. And so, after I had gone full circle, I was going to end it. I couldn't take it anymore-- yes, I know that sounds stupid. But a life without you is no life at all for me." She nuzzled her face in his neck, wrapping her arms fully around him, giving a soft sigh of content. "I can't believe we're actually going to be married."

I'll take your word for it. My Mum doesn't eat Tuna chunks, so I won't be having it any time soon.

Asher pursed hislips and sighed quietly-- so he had been right. What if he hadn't made it tonight? Her birthday would have been even more depressing than the other days she'd spent without him, so he would have missed that. She would have completed her circle of places to visit, and there she had planned on ending it.. Maybe even as little as one day later, and he could have arrived and she wouldn't be there to recieve him. That was a horrifying and chilling thought, one that made him physically shiver. But his expression quickly changed when she talked about them getting married, and he was smiling softly, looking at her with adoration. He said, "Neither can I. And now I can't wait for the day that I can make you Mrs. Scott, my wife."

xD Not a lot of people I know like tuna. I love it!

Be back in a bit, going to the store.

Lucy said to him, "I don't want to do anything too over the top. Maybe just our family and friends, but let's keep it to a minimum. I want us becoming man and wife to be the most important thing, not the guests or the dress or decorations. Simple is fine with me." She smiled up at him, scooting closer to him while remaining on his lap. "But our honeymoon will have to be very special, you know." She smirked and kissed at his neck softly, then moved her hands and rubbed his shoulders. "I want to spend as much time with you as possible, from this point on. A year and a month was way too long for me."

I love a tuna salad or tuna mayonnaise sandwich <3

I'm getting dinner anyway :)

"I completely agree with you. I never pictured having a huge wedding. Maybe it's because I don't have any friends to invite in the first place, just my family, and maybe it's because I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I'd be getting married in my life, but I'd like it to be small. It would feel more personal, and more like we care about each other and what it means than whether we've got a huge cake and you've got an expensive dress," Asher agreed. "And we can go all out on our honeymoon," he chuckled, "Make it something to remember. That's really important to me. Which reminds me, has your birthday been special enough yet or am I going to have to give you something else when we get home?" he smiled coyly as he asked her this.

I do too!!!

Okiday! Talk to you soon!

Lucy said, "Instead of making everyone come up here, we could have the wedding in my hometown or yours. I'm not going to lie, the mountains of Montana are gorgeous. I love New York, but you just can't be the raw look of nature. And I do want you to see my home, out on the plains." She cuddled closer to him than before, getting excited just talking about the wedding. When he mentioned making her birthday even more special, she blushed wildly, smiling coyly at him in return. "Oh you! I should have known we'd get on this subject sooner or later. Maybe, after we call everyone and tell them the good news, we could make tonight the most special night that either of us have ever had."

Well, I finished ages ago now, so it's all good. I'm drawing now :)

Asher nodded and said, "That's a good idea. A wedding at either your hometown or mine is a great idea, I think. Plus, I can't see us getting married in the middle of a huge, busy city. That would be weird." He pretended to look almost wounded by the accusation that he had to bring up the subject. He said, "Don't pretend that wasn't exactly what you were implying when you talked about the honeymoon. So, I didn't bring it up first. Not only that, but I didn't send the letter saying something along the lines of"-- he made quotation marks in the air with his fingers, ", 'My hormones are going crazy without you! I had no idea it would be this bad, but I really miss sleeping with you,' I believe that was you." He had to laugh a little. "I can abstain, if you want me to prove I'm not a typical man who thinks about that all the time, if you like."

Yay! Drawing is very very good! <3

Lucy said, "It would save time for our families, and I think they'd like to get together in a more traditional setting, and maybe have some sort of outdoor picnic-style reception. My home town is very home-style, they definitely like old fashioned things. Which is part of why I left. Still, it is nice to get a break from the city once in a while." Lucy laughed and said, "Okay, okay, I get it! But you can't tell me you didn't miss it, seeing as you were always surrounded by men. And don't mention nurses, because I don't want to think about them." At the last part, she rolled her eyes. "You're so mean to me sometimes! Why do you think I would want you to do that? I'm not crazy!"

It is indeed <3 And I just haven't had time for it lately so it's great to finally get down to it.

"Well, I have to say, I'd like to come and take a look around, and then we can decide whether we'd like to get married in Montana or [forgotwhereLucy'sfromfail]. Either would be wonderful, I'm sure." Asher shrugged and said, "Of course, I never said I didn'tmiss it. Come on, if you did, I certainly would. And, if it's any consolation I'm sure, even though I would never notice them anyway, that I was in too much pain and too frustrated to be attracted to any of the nurses." He grinned cheekily at her and chuckled, "No, you're not crazy. I'd just like to make a point. But it's not much of a birthday if the day's good but you spend the night sleeping like you normally do. Well, actually, we didn't usually go straight to bed anyway, did we? But that's beside the point." He still could hardly believe he could openly talk about these things with her, things that would have seemed impossible to imagine to him before he'd met her.

I like having time to myself xD

(I forget where Lucy's from too Dx)

Lucy grinned and said to him, "We never went straight to bed. Not that I recall, anyway, baby." She leaned forward and kissed him, smirking against his lips, liking the return of the intimacy between them. "Well, why don't we turn in a bit early tonight? You make a couple calls, and I'll change into something... more appropriate. Meaning, of course, less appropriate. I bought it for this occasion, anyway." She lowered her lips to his neck, finding the sensitive spot and nibbling on it.

Me, too. I've had it all this week and it's been wonderful <3

Ah, that's okay, then. xD

"I didn't think so," Asher murmured in reply against her lips, returning her kisses very willingly while it lasted. "More appropriate for what's in store, yes, more appropriate for my eyes, indeed. Far more inappropriate for anyone else. Perfect," he smirked, tilting his head back a little to expose his neck for her, feeling himself shiver as her lips made contact.

Let's see... I'll say she's from... Oklahoma!

Lucy bit into his sensitive spot roughly, drawing her tongue along the skin of it before sucking on it forcefully. She pulled back for a second and said, "It's the most revealing set of... lingerie that I own. I'm hoping you'll like it." She chuckled lightly, pressing against him, pushing her lips back onto his neck. She slid her hands under his jacket, touching the cloth of the shirt underneath. It was obvious she wanted him, and at one point she mumbled, "We need to hurry up and get home... I want to change clothes as soon as possible."

Okiedokie. :)

I'm watching the Proms concert so I'll be roaming in and out of here :)

Asher found himself unable to speak for a moment or two, getting used to the extreme intimacy once more. He simply nodded for a little while before he finally murmured, "You know I will." He watched her as she slid her hands under his jacket. That feeling alone was enough to make him shiver. He got up then, packing up all their food and such, and then took her hand,so they could start getting bacj.

Okay! :3

Proms concert? What is that?

Lucy got to her feet and squeezed his hand, picking up the bouquet of roses and cradling it with her free arm. She couldn't help letting her eyes wander to the beautiful ring that was on her finger. "Once we're married, we'll be starting a whole new chapter of our lives. I'll get to share your name, we'll be able to do whatever we want... maybe a couple kids in the future, if we're lucky. But most of all, we'll be together." She looked up at Asher, blushing slightly, but very glad that she could talk to him about anything that was on her mind. It was crazy, having someone she could be so open with, and he was right by her side, holding her hand, guiding her.

It's a special concert they do every year at the Royal Albert Hall. This year it's celebrating the Music of Stephen Sondheim, since it's his 80th birthday.

Asher smiled and listened intently to her furture plans, happily, in fact. He loved just to hear her dreams of their future more than anything. "I know we will get married, and that you and I will have a womderful future together, whether we're lucky enough to be blessed with children or not. I'm just so excited to think about you and I sharing our lives together, growing old with you, finding our future as it comes." He genuinely couldn't wait for every moment of what was to come, because he knew his future was beautiful, because she would be there every step of the way. But, of course, there was the here and now, as well, which was just as important.

That sounds amazing!

I'll have to see if someone puts it on youtube in the near future.

Lucy nuzzled close to him, beaming up at him briefly, then walking along beside him to their apartment. She led him in, noticing his suitcase by the door, and couldn't help letting out a cheer of joy. "I'm so glad you're back home!" She exclaimed, giving him a hug, taking in his smell again, wanting to imprint it in her mind again and again, so she would never forget that exact moment. Slowly, a smirk crossed her face, and she walked to the bedroom, and she looked behind her saying, "I'll be back. You'd better start making those phone calls, baby." She closed the door behind her, then searched through her drawers, pulling out a fancy looking box, the only luxury she had bought for herself during the past year. She opened it and smiled, blushing slightly at what he might think of it.

She slid out of her clothes and underwear, slipping into wine red, lacy lingerie, which barely covered anything and left nothing to the imagination. "Tell me when you're done!" She called through the door.

It was. I don't know all of the songs like I would for Bernstein or somebody like him, but it was good :)

Such a beautiful orchestra <3

"So am I, I can't tell you," Asher said, smiling down at her, glancing at his suitcase briefly. He leaned against the wall as he watched her make her way to the bedroom, looking both amused and wanting at the same time. "I'm on it," he replied, making his way over to the phone. He dialled his parents' phone number, incredibly excited to tell them he was home-- and alive, even more.

His mother answered the phone and was in tears from the moment she heard it was him. He told her what had happened, the mistake that had been made. And then he said, "So you finally got to meet Lucy... I'm so glad. Isn't she wonderful?... I have something else to tell you... You must know how much we love each other, don't you?... Well, I asked her to marry me... And she said yes!... I know. Yes, that means I'm getting married. Isn't it amazing?"

After a while, his mother passed over to his Dad, and he told the stories in short.

Eventually it just disintegrated into general conversation, and Lucy had called out from the bedroom. He glanced at the door, already leaning towards making his way over. "Listen, Dad, I really have to go. It was wonderful to talk to you, too. I miss you, too. I love you. Tell Mom I love her, too, okay? I'll speak to you really soon. Okay, bye."

He put the phone down and then called to Lucy, "I'm finished."

If you were in orchestra, what instrument would you play? (excluding piano)

It sounds like it was awesome!

Lucy slowly came out of the bedroom, leaning against the doorway, one leg bent, one arm extended, smirking at him. She then walked up to him, and started undoing the jacket of his uniform, murmuring, "I'm hoping this-- all of this-- is okay with you?" She tossed the jacket aside, then cupped his face in her hands, bringing his lips centimeters from hers, teasing him. She was starting to remember the feelings that came along with this-- how her heart would beat faster, the feeling of complete longing, the butterflies inside her stomach, the excitement and joy of being with him. "I love you," she whispered. letting her lips barely brush against his as she spoke.
