You might not of wanted to tell her - it's better for her to make sure.
My mum & dad aren't over-caring as I can look after myself well enough
I never told her, She found out on her own, (the rumor spread all over town and the population is like...6000 people)

I know that you didn't tell her - If my mum heard that rumour she'd confront me. But she knows i'd tell her first anyway [Well after my boyfriend obviously].

They wont even let me go around the block!!! they only let me go like 3 houses up, then come straight back! but Im also allowed to go somewhere aslong as they can see me through the window.. O.O''

my mom is a freakin care freak, but i luv her, she lets me stay at home alone, but she is always like " dont answer the door to strangers!" like I dont allready know that, she always calls every 30min to check on me. But having her care makes me feel safe so i guess it is ok!

My mom has been very reasonable and is very slow to anger. I was able to be at home alone once I hit around Grade 4, 5ish. She's very caring and only gives me a hard time if I slack off too much. These days she knows I'm an adult and although she doesn't and can't control everything I do or see, I at least get her opinion on stuff to figure out what's best for me. I figured she raised me, she knows how it goes. Usually she's right lol. My friends all think my mom is awesome and cool to hang with. I get a lot of my wit and humour from her

My dad was a protective guy but he and my mom together were pretty reasonable. He passed away when I was 10 so unfortunately not as much time to really figure out what he'd be like if he were around today. I remember he was always concerned about me at school when I was small because older kids picked on me. I recall some kid in grade 5 or older was holding onto me on my way to school (I was maybe 7, 8 at the time?) and my dad saw this through my bedroom window and he ran out and freaked the kid out XD! He kind of got in trouble by my school since he kind of grabbed the kid but he was looking out for me, he didn't want me to get hurt. I remember he used to be very protective of my sister as well when it came to boyfriends, but he never intruded on her and probably wouldn't on me.

My mom doesn't care if I go to the mall on a bus or whatever, in fact she ENCOURAGES me to go out to the mall and stuff alone, but I'm too lazy to. My parents are protective if it's really very nescessary, otherwise, they're cool with whatever I do.

My parents are pretty lenient. They don't want me walking out the door without telling them, (not that I do that anyways; I like staying home doing nothing.. XD ) but I can just do stuff if I want to.

I'm not even allowed to leave the house or have a driver's permit or date (I do anyway). They're very ignorant also, and they're bigots. I can't wait till I move out in a year and a half.

Well I wish my mama was more comforting. I wish she was more secure of me..because I am afraid of everything

My mother trusts me, she knows I can make good decisions and she knows I'm mature enough to face the consequences if I make a bad one.

But sometimes, she is protective (In some situations) and I don't mind that.

If she were really protective on me, I would go insane, I'm too used to not having bossy people in my life. Teachers are an exception.

VERY protective. Im 12 and my mom won't even let me shave my legs (which are very hairy by the way.)
I'm not allowed to shave my legs until im 18

I'm 14 now.

Anyways, my dad is fairly protective... he lets me go out, but i cant be out too late unless i can get a lift home safely.
