There are lots of worse things, but I find it funny groups like PETA will do nothing about this since they're too obsessed with their crusades against people already dead and KFC. I find it funny PETA waits until AFTER someone dies to talk smack 'bout people, like Steve Irwin, god rest his noble soul.

PETA is almost entirely worthless and an embarassment to sane animal lovers. They are not worth mentioning in any animal related discussion, because their stupid antics tend to lead other people to believe that ALL animal rights/conservationists/educators/etc. are like them. That really irks me, but I will save the rant for another time.

Videos like that just show the kind of sickening behaviour that results from a lack of education about, and compassion for, other living things. It would bother me just as much if it were a bird, lizard, turtle, toad, or any other creature. People like them do these horrendous things because they grow up as complete narcisstic(self-obsessed) individuals who apparrently never receive a reality check. If you can shut out another being's suffering in that way, you clearly lack compassion for all other people and animals. That is a wrong way to live, and to me, a lack of empathy for living things is unimaginable.

I grew up next to a boy who was several years older than me, and he thought it was funny(at his friends' houses) to swing kittens around by their tails, crush little frogs to death, and flip turtles on their backs and leave them to slowly die. He was disgusting, and he always talked about how he did these things all the time. It made me really angry and I talked to his parents about it but they didn't do anything about. One day he came over to my yard, saw a box turtle, and flipped it on it's back right in front of me. I love my turtles and I got really mad...............so I punched him SO hard right in the stomach, grabbed the turtle, and yelled right at him to get out of my yard and never come back!! He actually said nothing and left really fast! I took the turtle inside and I was so proud of myself for defending my animals. heh. He never came around again.

PETA also don't support a cure for AIDS. They think an animal's life is more important then a person infected with AIDS. WTF is that? PETA also now is attacking Mars Candy Company, saying that Mars abuses animals.

Oh get this.

PETA has killed many cats and dogs and has dumped the bodies in dumpstrs.

There are far better animal organzation groups that help. The ASCPA, Aley Cat Allies, etc.

I once saw a video of someone holding a kitten under water and then just keeping the darling there untill it died. The ***** then just let the body float away. I can't tell you how many tears i have cried. If i ever meet a single animal abuser, i swear, i will kill them. Litterly. They will be dead. Loving and wanting to protect animals, one thing. Making four year olds have panic attacks from a dang comic book that convinces them that their parents are murderers because they eat meat or hunt, completaly different.

Also, animal testin' ain't all that bad. Yes, they do it often, but it's fer the benefit of many. Not jus' humans, much medicine that requires animal testin' is veterinary medicine, meant fer animals and pets. Not ta mention medicines that allow people with disabilities ta function in daily life. Lotsa people with disabilities didn't ask fer them, since most are born with 'em. Those animals in testin' give these people the ability ta live once more, ta function in an acceptable manner. It seems cruel, but those animals are savin' people who need help. Don't seem like they die without a purpose none like that.
