Well, I don't go to your school so I don't know how it works. I'm a straight A student and not getting an A is un-familiar to me. I'm sure it's not the end of the world when it happens but my parents told me grades always matter. Because when you get good grades that means you're learning and listening :)
Even if you learn, you still might not get an A. Some kids just don't do well in school, even if they learn pretty much everything they're supposed to learn. And then some kids who do listen as hard as they can still don't get good grades. Grades don't show how smart you are, at all. And they don't even always show how much you learned.

To Caterpie: Did you switch classes yet?

Yeah.. even if it wasnt the teacher... I would have to leave sooner or later... I have a really full schedule. The only class I probably wont have homework is would be Gym (technically I will in 3rd marking period when we have that health reproduction talk...) I do stuff after school too... I really need that 40 minute period...

Yeah, (even though it would be good to learn Spanish) I understand. I took Study Hall last year, but unfortunately, this year they don't offer it. (The principal thought we had enough other electives, which most people hate.) So I had to take Yearbook instead.

I hope you like your new Study Skills class! (I know that Study Hall was my favorite class last year, next to core and french.)
