Hello all you tama-peoples!

I dont quite remember how I got here, but here I am

I just spent the past 6 hours or so puzzling out how to import and export binary data as spat out from one infrared device, recorded to a soundfile, and extracting meaningful data from that soundfile. What does this mean? This means I'm gonna try and puzzle out the more modern tamagotchi's infrared connection. Which then means that if I do my job right, we might be able to talk to our tamagotchi's with hardware costing about a third of what the tama itself costs.

(and no, that doesnt mean we'll be able to 'cheat' or really do anything to it that wasnt already possible.)

I've always been a virtual pet enthusiast, well, ever since the virtual pet craze, anyway

So basically you're trying to say that you're trying to understand how the infra communication works on tamagotchi's? (How they can change, and receive data) If so, maybe you could open the inside of it, and see how it works. Good luck .

I never really thought about the infra red thing but now that you mention it....I would open up my tama but I'm too much in love with it! Tell me if you find out how it works!
