It is hard work. But just randomly tapping it on it's own on a table helps to strengthen it up :)

More than three pages of my essay have disappeared off the face of the earth. How lovely.

Angie said to him, "If you're happy to make a day of shopping, then we can go ahead and do that. I'd like to, anyway. It sounds fun. It's always exciting when you're shopping for a trip away, too," she smiled. She took his plate from him and stacked it on hers, then her coffee cup on top. "Shopping it is, then!"

"I definitely think that's what it is," Evander agreed. He thanked her for washing off his back, and had been about to ask if she needed any help with reaching hers when she wrapped her arms around him. It took him by surprise, at first, in all actuality. "And the younger man in me is the man I like most. Thank you for being here for me." He crossed his arms over hers, enjoying the closeness.

"I wonder when they'll let us go home.. They won't have expected some miraculous recovery considering they said you weren't going to make it," Brandon said. "Still, we can just relax here and wait it out. Rest, like we need to." He enjoyed that kiss particularly. Just because it had felt like a long time since they had kissed before.

Are you serious!? That's awful, I'm sorry!

Mikey laughed and got out of bed, going to the bathroom so he could take a quick shower, feeling disgusting from the previous day and night. When he had finished, he came out, towel around his hips, and started looking for clothes for the day's "adventure". he never thought he would prefer shopping over a big event, but today he was ready to just lay low.

Prudence just held him for a while, resting her cheek against his back. "I love you so much, Evander, and I promise I'll always be here for you, through thick and thin." She kissed his back gently, rubbing the front of his chest with her hands.

Sadie nodded slightly, smiling at Brandon with that total adoration she could only give to him. "Thank you for saving me when we were in that old building. I was so scared, mostly for Cosette. If anything had happened to her, or you, I would never have forgiven myself."

It's alright. At least I had my original copy. And my dad's got this voice software for his computer, because he finds it difficult to type nowadays, so we used that to make it quicker. But it's not perfect, so I'm having to go through it and check all the sentences. Never mind, it's better than retyping it all.

Angie went and cleaned up the dishes while Mikey was in the shower, and then went for one herself. She finished up, did her hair first, then changed into something suitable for a lazy day's shopping. It was always funny to see Angie's definition of what were comfortable, everyday house clothes. Because most people would wear them out as smart things for dinner. But she supposed that came through her interest in fashion and her being a model way back when.

"I never expected to hear you say that to me, Prudence. I never thought I'd fall for anyone, or have anyone fall for me ever again. But it's happened. And you are the best thing that's happened to me," Evander told her. "I love you, too. So, so much. And as much as you'll be here for me, I'll always be yours, here whenever you need me, no matter what happens."

"You don't have to thank me, Sadie. You know I'd do anything for you," Brandon replied, gazing back into her eyes with that same look of passionate adoration for her. "I had to save you, and Cosette, and Lucy. Noone else was looking to do anything, seeing to wait it out. But I wasn't prepared for you to get hurt enough that I would have to save you in a way that would stop us from having a lot of things we still wanted."

That's definitely true.

I've been in a situation like that before. Not fun at all.

Mikey put on a nice pair of jeans and a black button down, long sleeved shirt. He didn't want to look like crud standing beside Angie, or for people to think she was too good for him. He was the only one allowed to think that, not everyone else. He put on his shoes, letting his dirty blonde hair go loose, vowing silently to cut it soon.

Prudence moved so she was facing him, smiling up at him fondly. "You're so amazing, how could I not love you?" She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him passionately, running her fingers through his hair. "Plus, being like this isn't bad either."

Sadie ruffled his hair gently, then winced, her ribs shifting slightly when she moved. "Ohhh... that smarts! By jove!" She let out a sigh of aggravation, which caused Cosette to laugh loudly.

Ugh, it's horrible when I'm coming to a sentence that makes no sense whatsoever.

"You look great," Angie said to him once he was done getting changed. She, of course, took a little bit longer to get ready than he did. She finally slipped on a pair of shoes and then took his hand. "Now, I should warn you, when we're shopping and I see something that is totally irrelevant to the trip of for groceries, just pull me away from it, okay? Because it won't be much fun for you otherwise," she chuckled.

Evander wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing her against him tightly-- the sensation of wet skin was something interesting and different for him. And he definitely liked it. Oh yeah, that made him wonder when had he ever shared a shower with his ex wife? That was and interesting thought. They never had. He matched Prudence's passion as he returned her kiss, thoroughly enjoying it. She was right, it definitely wasn't a bad place to be.

Brandon couldn't help but laugh when Cosette laughed. He felt bad for it, but his daughter's sense of humour definitely had him going. "She's got one of those mean sense of humours. You know, the kind when people laugh at other's misfortune. Even her own Mum," he chuckled.

oh no! DX hopefully you'll get it sorted out soon

Mikey laughed and led her out of the apartment, saying, "Don't you worry, I'll be extra careful about the places we go to shop today. Nowhere that could be too much of a distraction, I promise." He took her arm and linked it through his, walking out the door and onto the street, the day fair and bright.

Prudence threw her arms around his neck, the wet skin thing a definite turn on for her, what with the temperature of the shower being so hot anyway. "This feels so amazing right now," she mumbled against his lips, before tracing her tongue along his lower lip slowly. She idly stroked the back of his neck with her index finger, then let it slide up and down his back, making sure the touch was barely there.

Sadie shook her head, handing Cosette to Brandon, in too much pain to even talk at this point. She scrunched up her face, beads of sweat forming on her forehead. "Where is the pain medication when I need it?" She finally managed to mutter between clenched teeth. Her hands were gripping the sheets tightly, her knuckles turning white.

I'll ask for some extra time tomorrow and finish it tomorrow night, I think. I won't get into trouble-- I mean, why would I delete three pages of my own work to get out of only correcting it?

"That's good. Unfortunately, I do like to shop. Just wait until we go to California, Mikey. You'll never see me!" she joked, walking close to his side, enjoying the sunny weather. "Lead the way, anyway. I can't say I visit shops suitable for backpacking needs all that often."

"You're telling me," Evander murmured, practically purring at the feeling of her stroking the back of his neck-- he did like it an awfl lot when she did that. He parted his lips shortly after she ran her tongue across them, his silent way of asking for her permisson to French kiss her, pulling her closer with every second until there was no more space between them.

Brandon looked worried. He set Cosette on his lap. He knew now what he should do. There weren't any meds that he could possibly give to her. He closed his eyes and spoke softly to her, "Sadie, don't think about the pain." He offered her his hand, and told her to squeeze it as hard as she could, to help channel it out of her. He then entered her mind-- that was always the hardest thing for him to do, because he'd built so many walls so that he couldn't hear her thoughts. And he began to numb the pain from the inside out, just as he had when she went into labor.

Exactly!

So what's the essay for, anyway?

Mikey smiled and said, "Well then, I guess I'd just be a very lonely surfer guy. But I'd be very worried about some California jock strap trying to steal you away from me, Angie. I don't want them to inrude on our little piece of heaven. And If I have to stop you from shopping every day, you can bet I'll try."

Prudence smirked slightly before opening her mouth in return, starting to french kiss him, her manner becoming more and more passionate, almost hungry. She brought one leg up, wrapping it around his waist, glad that she had been a dancer for many years. She liked being flexible in these situations, it made her feel like she was an enticing woman. Rubbing against him, she whispered, "Right here? Right now?"

Sadie took his hand gratefully, squeezing it tightly, shutting her eyes and laying back, feeling a surge of relief as the pain started ebbing away, allowing her to breathe fully. "Thank you," she wispered, the relief evident on her face as her muscles were finally able to relax.

It's an English essay, about Edgar Allan Poe. And it's finally done! =D

"Hey. I may shop a lot, but that will never happen. The good thing is, most guys won't go near a girl if she says she's married. He might take a chance if she's got a boyfriend, but not usually if she's married," Angie told him. "And, I'd be able to beat the hell out of them anyway. Besides, since you'll be surfing, I'll be out there with you. You'll have to teach me how!"

Evander groaned quietly in pleasure, at everything she was doing. One of his hands moved to take a hold on her leg that had wrapped around his waist, tracing his fingers along it gently, unconsciously. God, she's hot, he thought to himself, becoming hungrier for her with every passing moment. He murmured, in answer to her question, "Only you want to, of course."

Brandon kept it up for a bit longer, just to make sure the pain would go away and then stay away, before releasing her mind, and removing himself from it. "That's alright," he told her, with a gentle, loving smile, stroking across her hand with his thumb.

Edgar Allen Poe!!!! <3 I love him!

Oh, did you see the video i posted on facebook, with Hugh Jackman as Curly in "Oklahoma!"? He's SO HOTTTT!!!!

Mikey said, "Oh, it'll be really easy to teach you to surf. I figure, since you're a vampire, you'll be able to pick it up in no time. The balance part will definitely not be a problem for you, either." He led her to the mall and told her, "There's a sporting equipment store here, so we can get backpacks and stuff."

Prudence grinned at him, then lowered her lips to his neck, kissing it forcefully. Eventually, she sunk her fangs into the sensitive spot, drawing blood then licking it away soon after. "Well then, there's no holding back now. Take me, I'm yours," she whispered, moving to kiss him aggressively.

*skip*

Sadie opened her eyes, feeling much better than she had before. "I'm so glad I have you and Cosette. I can't picture my life without you two, you know." She sat up slightly, still holding onto Brandon's hand. "I love you, Brandon."

So do I. I just don't like writing essays about him. I mean, how can you enjoy something you've analysed to death?

I saw that you posted it, but I didn't get to take a look. I know the song, though, and I know he's gorgeous xD

"I'll take your word for it. It just looks like so much fun," Angie said, grinning at him. She nodded at his suggestion, and upon spotting the sports shop, went in there. If there was one thing you could say about Angie, it was that she was good at shopping for things. It didn't matter what, but she always knew where to find what she needed and whether what she was looking at was any good and worth the money.

Quite some time later, Evander pulled away from kissing at Prudence's neck. He was pretty much unable to move except for his deep breathing, and not able to speak. It was an insane thought, sleeping with each other, in the shower, while it was on. The water had gone off cold by now, but, of course, still felt warm to then. He rolled off of her. "Wow.." he breathed, "That was amazing."

"I know. I feel the same way about you and Cosette. My life would lose all meaning if I didn't have you," Brandon agreed, smiling at her lovingly, and at Cosette, too. "I love you, too, Sadie. So, so much."

True, true xD

I never knew he could sing, though. But then I heard this, and I was just like... wow.

Mikey started looking around, trying to find two high quality backpacks that could carry enough for at least a week or two, so they wouldn't have to constantly be buying new supplies in Europe. "Well, surfing feels almost like flying, and I even prefer it over jumping on the rooftops, actually. Plus, with the blue water racing under your board, and the sea breeze blowing in your face, you fell uninhibited. Completely one with nature."

Prudence nodded mutely, running her fingers through her hair, getting it off of her skin. She looked over at him and smiled, her eyes alight with a new found discovery about the man she had fallen in love with. "You are such an insane guy," she said to him after catching her breath. "In the best possible way, of course. I mean, wow. You're not only gorgeous, but you have a wild side that I didn't know about at all." She looked up at the ceiling, the smile still stuck on her face. "I'm one lucky girl."

Sadie beamed at him, then tried to look around for her clothes. "I guess the nurses must have thrown them away, what with all the blood on them and everything. Do you think we could call Blaise and get her to bring something for me to wear when I go home?"

I didn't know he could sing, either!

Angie smiled, looking almost like she was daydreaming about it already. "That sounds amazing," she murmured, looking at the various backpacks on show. Honestly, she might have been daydreaming about the idea of Mikey in his swim shorts, surfing like a pro, because that was definitely an attractive thought. But, surfing really did sound like a lot of fun.

Evander laughed. "I never knew I was this crazy. I was wild once upon a time," he said, still a bit breathless, "In the sixties and seventies especially, I was usually off my head with something, doing stuff that was considered crazy even for that time. But nothing like this at all." He rolled onto his side to look down at her lovingly. "I just needed the right woman to find me. And she turned out to be as hot, beautiful and sexy as they come."

Brandon nodded and said, "Sure, I'll give her a call now." He phoned Blaise's mobile. She picked up sounding unusually frantic, asking if everything was alright. Brandon had to calm her down before he finally managed to ask her to bring some clothes down for Sadie, and a shirt for him, as well.

Hugh Jackman has become a god in my eyes now xD

Mikey ran his fingers through his hair, kneeling down to look at more backpacks, browsing the selection carefully. "It's the best! You'll really love it, I promise!" He told her, grinning. "Besides, I'm not going to lie, I want to see you in a cute swimsuit." Laughing, he went back to inspecting the backpacks the store offered, only wanting the highest quality.

Prudence smiled up at him, stroking his cheek with her fingertips, admiring how the water defined his already chiseled face, how the water gleamed on his skin. "I never would have guessed," she said, laughing lightly. "I really wish I had been there when you were so out there and crazy!" She cuddled close to his chest, letting the water from the shower head sprinkle all over her.

Cosette squealed during Brandon's conversation, as if demanding clothes of her own, seeing as hers were old and dirty, too. And she wanted a new diaper. Correction, she needed a new diaper. Sadie laughed and said to Brandon, "Can you make sure she brings the baby bag as well?"

I bet xD

Only one man for me, though. I was listening to his album the other day. His song Pick U Up was so theatrical and broadway musical style I just couldn't help but laugh. Plus, how many songs use the word procrastinating even just once, let alone in the chorus? xD

Angie giggled and said, "I'm glad I wasn't the only one daydreaming about my spouse in swimwear." She laughed. She then pointed to a couple of bags and said, "Personally, I'd go for either of these two. Your thoughts?"

"Oh, there are probably plenty of pictures and video clips somewhere, I assure you," Evander chuckled, leaning down to give her a brief kiss on the lips. "I don't know why or when my personality changed so much. I was always such a happy person, sober or not, I should add, not afraid to be stupid and make a fool of myself as long as it was all in good nature. I just can't imagine how badly treated I must have felt by Catherine to change me so much-- it feels so far away now, I barely remember how it felt."

"Okay, yeah, and the baby bag as well, please. Thanks for doing this, Blaise. Yup, see you in a bit." Brandon put his phone away and said, "All set, she'll be over soon."

xD You and your Adam Lambert

Procrastinating is my eternal downfall, funnily enough.

Mikey examined them, then nodded. "Okay. I think I like the ones with the extra space, personally. They are more expensive, but the quality is higher, and they have more perks than the other one." He picked out two bags of the same type, then said, "Now, how about a tent?" He took her hand and led her down to the tent section, humming softly.

Prudence shook her head, a glum look crossing her face as she thought of the crap that Catherine had put Evander through. She never wanted him to feel that sort of pain again so she silently vowed never to be like her, ever. "Evander, I love you so much. I always want you to be happy with me."

Sadie nodded happily and said, "I can't wait to feel all cleaned up... and to change Cosette's stinky diaper. I think she'll be very happy too."

I can't help it. He's perfect in every way, except that he's gay and can therefore never be mine. Oh, and I don't like it when he has his hair in a quiff like he does a lot at the moment. His first haircut that he had on Idol was amazing <3

Oh, gosh, me, too. I'm terrible. I'm procrastinating now, actually.

"Alright. I picked something right, anyway," Angie replied with a chuckle, apparently surprised by that. She had never had much chance to go camping at all. Her life as a model had been very restricting.

Evander said to her, "And I truly believe I always will be. I've never felt the way I have with you before. I thought I was in love with Catherine for a long time. And I was. But it was never meant to last, never true love as it should be with soulmates."

"I can imagine," Brandon smiled. "It'd be nice to get a shirt on, too. If only for the fact that I'm sick of all the attention from the nurses when they should have been giving it to you," he laughed.

It is a shame that he's gorgeous and gay. It seems like all the really hot ones are gay. *sigh*

Woo, procrastination!

Mikey said, "Well, listen, I really trust your judgment more than I trust my own. Even if you haven't done the whole camping thing very much. Plus, we'll probably stop at small bed and breakfasts for the most part, anyway. At least, in western Europe, anyway." He grinned, then looked for a small, easy to carry, two person tent. "Oh, and we'll only need one sleeping bag." He winked at her, chuckling.

Prudence beamed up at him, giving him a long, slow and passionate kiss. "You know, I truly loved my husband. He had been the only person, in my over 2000 years of existence, who ever really mattered to me. And now... I feel it again, with you."

Sadie said, "I've noticed. I feel like knocking their blocks off, excuse my rottenness. But really, you may not have a wedding band, but you are the father of a child-- my child-- and they should back off. Especially with Cosette around." She pouted, crossing her arms smugly.

I was getting there. I was just building up the energy required for it xD

Angie nodded at his first comment. "That's true, I guess. It'll be good to get a bit of both in there, I agree," she said. At his second she giggled and said, "Oh, yeah, that's right. I'll go find one, then. And since I'll have you to keep me warm I guess it doesn't have to be as thick as I may have first thought."

"Well, I can accept that you loved him-- and, I know, he'll always be a part of you. It doesn't bother me or make me feel jealous. Because I wouldn't have wanted you to be alone for so long. You have once, between when he died and now, and you don't deserve not to be loved by somebody," Evander told her, giving her a quick, yet loving kiss. And that was the truth of the matter. Yes, she had been in love twice; some people would feel uneasy about that. That she may constantly be comparing her husband to him, that he could never live up to him. He was concerned about the latter in a small way, because he knew it was hard to live up to what she'd been through before. But he would never be jealous that she could still feel love for somebody else at the same time-- it wasn't fair or possible to get her to rid of her memories of him.

"Well, you don't have to worry. Maybe if we didn't have Cosette I may consider.." Brandon trailed off, then laughed, winking at her to reassure her that he was kidding. "No, really. I'm finding it just as annoying as you, I can assure you."
