Lucky girl, getting to test out three rare guitars! I'm envious!

Mikey chuckled as well, then said, "Thank you. I would never have been able to rest until you forgave me, so... thank... you..." His head started rolling to the side, his fatigue finally catching up with him. He had never felt more tired-- or happy-- in his entire life. And that was saying a lot, because he'd had some pretty amazing moments.

Prudence looked back at him, then stuck out her tongue and blew a raspberry at him. Then she kept running, going onto rooftops that were higher and higher, occasionally climbing up the walls to reach her destination. Occasionally, she would glance back, to make sure Evander was still following behind her.

Sadie finished feeding Cosette, so she rested the baby on her chest, patting her back gently. "Are you feeling any better, baby," she asked, looking over at Brandon worriedly. "Your arm looked awful, but... Cosette decided to share her gift with you, too."

Oh, gosh, Becca, I'll tell you, I almost died. They were so, so beautiful.

Angie didn't answer him, falling silent, just to let him sleep. It was a lot for Mikey to take in, really; one of his first days of being a vampire, where changes were still happening, he'd gotten married, been involved in strenuous activity three times, had to help save two people from werewolves and experienced extreme bloodlust. That was hard work for anyone. Even she was hugely tired, and she was already far past changing and hadn't gone through any bloodlust. So tired, in fact, that she fell asleep not long after her husband.

Evander just laughed and followed along still, taking her teasing in his stride, using it as a reason to keep on going as he was. He realised then more than ever that he really did love to be a vampire. It felt like flying.

Brandon ran a hand back through his hair and nodded slightly, just a few times, still looking a bit worse for wear. He still smiled though, as he always did; that was the one thing you really could say about Brandon, it was that he rarely stopped smiling, even when he had cause to be down. "I'm doing okay, thank you," he said to her. "I guess it's just catching up on me now." He looked at his arm, and then to Cosette and said, "She shouldn't have wasted her energy on me. It would have been fine soon.. Still, I am grateful for that."

And I take it they sounded amazing =)

Mikey fell asleep quickly, still holding Angie close to himself, his face buried in her hair. He was glad that it was finally time to go to sleep, because he felt like he really needed it at this point. If it had been earlier, he might have been okay, but by now he was worn out completely.

Prudence stopped when she reached the roof of the highest building, waiting for Evander to join her by her side. She smiled prettily at him and said, "Okay, let's take a short break, so I can plan out the rest of our course, okay?" She sat down, pulling him to sit beside her.

Cosette simply smiled at Brandon, as if to reassure him that everything was okay. Sadie smiled and said, "I think Cosette's going to grow up to be a very caring, whimsical child. Already she's using her powers to help people, and she's so smart! She gets that from you, I think." She tickled under Cosette's chin, which caused the baby to coo happily.

Oh, they did. They easily sounded as good as they looked <3

Angie slept through the whole night peacefully, soundly, perfectly in Mikey's arms. She dreamt about him. But she often had for some time, just never as vividly as she had the last few nights since they had started going out. She woke up much later than she was usually used to doing. But then, over the past few months, she'd barely been sleeping at all.

"Okay. I'll take your word for that," Evander chuckled, taking a seat beside her, enjoying the view of the city from where they were. He exhaled and said, "I haven't ran like that for years. It was great to feel so free again, I forgot what it was like."

"You're caring, whimsical and smart, Sadie. She could be taking after you," Brandon replied, with a tired sounding chuckle. He often refused to believe that his daughter could have possibly inherited any of her good traits from him.

That's good! I saw the pictures, and I think you're super lucky!

Mikey also slept very soundly and, no pun intended, he slept as if he were dead. He didn't dream tonight, his mind too exhausted to come up with anything or send him any signals or visions. So all that there was, in his mind anyway, was darkness. For some reason, though, he could still detect every movement and sound outside of his conscience and body. Maybe it was a vampire thing, he would have to figure it out.

Prudence chuckled, leaning over and kissing him gently, though she did start french kissing him soon after she started. After a while of that, she pulled away and smirked up at him. "Well, we can do it more often if you would like. I bet your ex made you forget how great it feels, right? I bet she made you forget that you're a good looking man, who has needs, too. I know I'll sound terrible saying this, but I'm glad that you and her have been over for... what, six months now?"

Sadie smiled at Brandon, noticing that he was tired. "Honey, if you need more sleep, you can go ahead and sleep some more. I'll stay up and watch Cosette, since I'm not tired right now, anyway," she told him softly, her smile fading only slightly. It was obvious she was worried about him.

I wasn't even expecting it. My mum just asked him a question about them and suddenly all of these guitars with 'DO NOT TOUCH!' signs all over them were in my hands. I was like, "I'm touching a PRS!!" I got to hold and look up close about six or seven, and I played three because I prefer the sound of a Custom 24 to a Custom 22. They were magnificent in every way, and I can't believe I spent a whole hour on them!! I'm so lucky.

Angie woke up before Mikey in the morning. She stayed cuddled into his chest for a further fifteen minutes before she eventually silently slipped out of bed, giving him a few kisses along his jawline before she left. She went into the kitchen and just decided to start making breakfast, for when Mikey woke up. She didn't know about him, but she was starving. She made an unusual Spanish style breakfast, one that her Dad had always made when she was little; he had always known it was her favourite.

Evander had seemed reluctant to pull away from her at first, having thoroughly enjoyed kissing her that way. At her first comment, he asked her, "I wonder, how many things were you referring to with that statement? I mean, it sounded like you meant a little more than jumping rooftops," he chuckled. At her other comment, he nodded a little and said, "It took me a very long time to get over it. More getting over the fact that neither of us loved each other anymore than getting over her as a person. And I was afraid of love, or losing it again, rather. But I think six months is a fair amount of time now, and I don't think it looks like I'm moving on too quickly now that I'm with you now."

"Are you sure? I mean, really, I'll be fine. I can sleep a little while later when you do. I--" He was cut off by another yawn. "I just. I need to wake up a bit more. I'll be fine in a moment.." He was definitely making excuses because he felt bad for falling asleep. In truth he was totally knackered.

I agree! And I love how you didn't expect it at all, either!

Mikey remained in bed, sleeping like a log, only moving once, ending up sprawled out all over the bed. He was perfectly content just being asleep, his body regaining much needed energy. He had a feeling his life was only going to become more and more exciting from this point onward. Being a vampire, it sort of came with the territory, he assumed, and there were still a lot of things he had to learn yet.

"Well, you can infer whatever you want dear, I'm not giving any hints, I'm leaving it wide open." She laughed quietly, slipping her hand into his and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Believe me, it'll be pretty hard to get rid of me, that's for sure. Although, I'm hoping you'll never actually want to get rid of me, you know. Seeing as I love you completely, the thought hurts me physically."

Sadie shook her head and laughed. "Brandon, just get some rest. I'll be here when you wake up." Cosette squeaked, as if agreeing with Sadie. Really, she was quite a smart baby. "Even Cosette thinks you need to get some rest! Now get to it!"

I know, right? It was so cool! The guy was actually my own guitar teacher's teacher-- even though he seems too young for that! But this meant he was really enthusiastic with me. He was like, "If you ever see a colour or particular kind you want to see in the flesh, phone in and let me know-- I'll borrow any guitar you like to meet your exact preference!" He also said, "Ah, so you like the wide-thin neck. Orianthi prefers that neck." I was like O: xDDD

Angie hummed quietly as she continued to make breakfast. She also made both of them a cup of coffee to go with. She returned therefore about half an hour or forty minutes into the bedroom, carrying a tray for him and for her. When she saw he was still asleep she just checkled to herself and set the breakfast down on the bedside table until he woke up.

"Okay. I'll keep that in mind and leave it to my imagination, then," Evander laughed softly, squeezing her hand back in return and giving her a kiss on the cheek. He shook his head and said, "I think the chances are that, if ever it would happen, you'd want to get rid of me before I would want to get rid of you. That's what happened the last time. But I have a feeling I'll always be in love with you Prudence. I feel something with you that I've never felt before."

Brandon smiled slightly and said, "Thank you, guys. I am tired, as much as I don't want to admit it," he chuckled. He soon found himself fast asleep once more, still in the chair, his head back against the wall behind him.

Wow! That's so awesome! Stuff like that usually doesn't happen to me, or most people I talk to.

Mikey stirred a few minutes later, his sleep interrupted by the smell of wonderful food. "Hmm... what's going on?" He asked, sitting up groggily and rubbing his eyes sleepily. He then looked at the bedside table and smiled, taking the cup of coffee and drinking from it cheerfully. "Thank you Angie!" he said, smiling from ear to ear. "This looks completely delicious!" Nobody had done something like this for him before. It made him feel extremely happy, having someone to take care of him.

Prudence said, "Well, I don't think I'll ever want to get rid of you, Evander. I mean, after our fun time at the beach, I really don't think that there's any reason for me to let you go." She laughed, then got to her feet, taking his hand. "All right, you about ready to finish our little game, babe?" Without waiting for an answer, she ran ahead and jumped off of the roof, hurtling to a roof that was much lower than the skyscraper.

Sadie giggled quietly, then watched as Cosette fell asleep herself, curling up in Sadie's hospital gown with a tiny yawn. Sadie rubbed her back gently, humming a soft lullaby to her, making sure she would stay asleep for a long time. fter all, she had used up most of her energy healing Sadie and Brandon.

I know! It never happens to me, usually, either. But I think the Orianthi thing is just because we're both girls with small hands.

Angie smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the lips, "Spanish breakfast, Amigo. Hope you like it." She set a tray on his lap, because he was preoccupied with holding his coffee cup, and then sat down in bad next to him, putting her legs back under the covers and getting comfortable before getting her own tray. "You're very welcome, Mikey. I had to make you breakfast in bed at some point. It's a particularly wifey thing to do, I thought," she chuckled.

"The beach was great," Evander agreed, nodding. He quickly stood up and followed along when she jumped. Of course, she'd started much more quickly than him. But he could make it up with his speed. He was interested to see which root she would choose to take this time as they scaled the rooftops once more without fear and with plenty of speed and undisputed grace.

Brandon's eyes opened once more a few hours later. He still found himself in the chair, feeling a little disorientated, the bright lights and the white room hurting his eyes at first. He stretched his legs out and then turned to see Sadie and Cosette once again, smiling. At least Cosette was getting some rest now, too. She needed it.

I actually started playing my guitar again yesterday, and I've realized I need a lot of work xD

Mikey said, "You really didn't have to do it, honey. I mean, all I did was sleep, and you made me a nice breakfast. I'll make it up to you somehow!" He started eating the food from his tray, grinning once he had tasted the food. "Angie, this is delicious! You're beautiful, smart, and you can cook! You're nothing less than amazing!" He kept eating, very happy with life in general.

Prudence jumped onto the huge beams that held up the bridge that crossed the river from the big city to the suburb part of the town. She started running, up up up, then down down down, laughing. "Isn't this awesome?" She called, a huge smile on her face. "You can hear the traffic, the whoosh of wind, the sound of the river, everything!"

Sadie smiled at him and said, "Hey there, babe. Cosette's still fast asleep, which makes me glad. She needed to get her rest in. And so did you." She reached out with her free arm and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Are you feeling better now?" She asked softly, rubbing her thumb across the top of his hand.

I never stop, I just can't xD Thankfully, I'll still have one to play next week when I'm in Germany. No piano, though D:

So do you play some lead stuff, too, or just chords?

"Hey, it's no problem. I was awake, I was hungry, you happened to have everything I needed to put this together and I wanted to make it for you. You don't owe me anything for it," Angie told him, before eating some of her food. She hadn't had it in so long. Even if she said so herself, it did taste great, and she loved it.

"It's exhilarating!" Evander called in reply, hopping from one bridge beam to the next, following close on Prudence's tail, letting himself just feel free, laughing, and feeling the wind rush past him.

"Hey," Brandon replied softly, gripping her hand a little more tightly once he'd perked up a little. He nodded and said, "That's good. She must be exhausted. And I'm feeling a lot better, thank you. Still a little sore, but fine. How are you doing now?"

As of right now, just chords.

I've actually figured out that I want to play folk music and old school bluegrass stuff. That's what I want to do first, then maybe do some jazz styling stuff.

Mikey smiled and continued eating, being careful not to make a mess, because he didn't want to mess up the new bedspread. "Angie, I know I'll sound terrible, but can you cook food like this often? I mean, it's completely wonderful, much better than the crud I cook myself."

Prudence eventually led them to the house, but it was now morning. "Well gee, it's already morning! Still, I guess we could shower, then get in a couple good hours of sleep, yeah?" She smiled at him, going inside. "That is, if you don't mind!" She laughed, heading straight for his room, slipping out of her clothes and going into the bathroom.

Sadie said, "I'm extremely sore, all over the place. But I'm feeling better. Just don't make me laugh, or I'll probably punch you in the face!" She chuckled, then winced. "You see? it hurts like no other."

I love to play Jazz and Blues. It's fun to improvise on a minor pentatonic-- it always sounds really nice.

Angie chuckled, finishing her mouthful before she told him, "Of course I will. It doesn't sound bad-- I'm glad that you like it, personally. If you want more Spanish food, I can make this for breakfast and tapas for lunch and dinner. And I like to cook other things, too. I can cook dinner tonight, if you like."

"That sounds just fine to me," Evander replied, going into his room. He dusted off as much sand as he could while he was in his room, stripping down to just his boxers. He'd let her in the shower first, of course, being the courteous guy he was.

"I can imagine. Don't worry, though, I don't think I'll be particularly prone to making any jokes right now. I'm not totally with it right now, so I think you'll be okay," Brandon reassured her, chuckling to himself. "What a day," he said with a loud sigh.

My hands are so small and pathetic, I don't think I'll be able to definitely shred with lead stuff. It's sad, but true.

Mikey grinned and said, "I really like the sound of that, Angie! I'm definitely looking forward to it!" He kissed her quickly, before going to back to eating his breakfast, a happy tune playing inside his head as he ate. Idle, he reached over with his free hand and took her free hand in his, entwining his fingers.

Prudence giggled from inside the shower and said, "You don't have to wait out there, if you don't feel like it!" She started scrubbing at her skin, trying to get all of the sand off, before washing her hair. She tried to get the sand out of her scalp as well.

Sadie nodded slightly, smiling at him gently. "Yes, what a day. But... at least we're all still here together, Brandon. We got a little bit scraped, but that's fine by me!" She gave his hand another squeeze, running her thumb along his hand.

I have small hands. And Orianthi is tiny; much smaller than me! And she can shred with the best of them. It's all about strength and knowing your scale positions.

"Okay. So I might have to hit the shops quickly to get some stuff. But, definitely, today is officially our Spanish food day. Maybe celebrating ahead of our Europe honeymoon. It's tapas for dinner. I can't wait," Angie grinned, returning his kiss and then taking a few sips of her coffee before finishing off her food,

"Now there's an invitation," Evander replied, chuckling quietly. He came into the bathroom and got rid of his boxers. He said, "So, for the sole purpose or saving water, can I join you?" he asked her. He laughed and said, "And if you'll believe that, you'll believe anything."

"That's true. Because, despite this evening, today had actually been really nice. We got to spend time with Cosette, with each other, we got some great news from Angie and Mikey."

Well, I don't have much strength yet. Maybe someday xD

Mikey said, "We could go shopping together today, if you'd like. I need to stock up on normal groceries anyway, and there are a few things I've been meaning to buy for our backpacking trip!" He grinned, visualizing his honeymoon, and already loving it.

Prudence said, "Yes, for the sake of conserving water, you may join me. I'm no fool, Evander, I know what you're thinking! I never knew there was this side of you." She laughed, still scrubbing at her scalp, sighing with frustration.

Sadie nodded and smiled, then looked down as Cosette started waking up, letting out soft whimpering noises as her eyes adjusted to the light in the bright white room. "Hey there, sweetie. Did you have a good nap?" Sadie softly said to the baby.

I don't have a lot of strength in my pinky. But I already had the advantage of being a pianist, which sort of helped. Just exercising before you play helps, I find.

"Sure. It'd be nice to have some company, really," Angie smiled. "So I think backpacks is a good place to start when shopping for a backpacking trip, too? But we can go get some another time, I think. Supermarkets don't sell ones like we'd need." She really was looking forward to their trip. She couldn't really wait, in all honestly.

Evander stepped into the shower, welcoming the warmth and the feeling of the sand washing away from all over his body. He laughed and said, "I don't suppose a lot of people do, since I became the boring, old man I have been for the past few years. So I don't blame you for thinking that. But you have to remember that I am a guy, who, though his mind is centuries old, his body is that of a twenty five year old, and the fact is, guys that age are like that. I'm sure you're well aware."

Cosette cooed quietly but happily after a few moments of adjustment. "Sounds like a yes to me," Brandon said chuckling softly and leaning over to plant a kiss on the baby's cheek. At least he managed to finish the action this time without falling alseep.

I'm going to have to work hard to get my pinkie to work correctly.

Mikey said, "We can make a whole day of shopping for supplies and groceries and everything, how about that? That way, we can go out officially as man and wife, you know? Plus, I don't want to put off getting our things for too long, you know!" He finished eating his breakfast and smiled at Angie lovingly.

Prudence laughed, turning him to wash his back off, sand still on his skin. "Well, maybe it's just me bringing the younger man back in you. I like to think that's what it is, anyway." She pushed against him, wrapping her arms around him from behind.

Sadie smiled and said, "Well, I'm glad we're all feeling better now, huh! I can't wait to get home, and maybe have just a little time to relax." She leaned over and kissed him gently, then rubbed her face against his.
