Thank you. I really liked it the last time, actually. But, like I said, it grows so fast. Especially the fringe.

Angie said, "But you're such a wonderful guy. And you are really so gorgeous, Mikey. I've even been out with Rudolph Valentino, probably the world's first famous heart throb. And a a lot of other guys like him. But they're not a patch on you in looks or personality." She smiled and said, "Just take it from me, you're the one I want, and need, and love. And if marrying you after only a few days doesn't prove it, I don't know what will."

Another great picture, this time of both if the girls, covered in suds. "Well, daddy's a bit jealous now," he said, pouting slightly, jokingly.

The feeling of being on a bike, though it had been a long time, was something Evander had never forgotten. He almost wished he hadn't sold his now, he had loved having it.

Mikey grinned and said, "Thanks, baby. That makes me feel a lot better, you know. I'm glad that you can take me as I am." He leaned over and kissed her gently, then concentrated on the road.

Sadie threw some suds at Brandon's face, laughing."There you go, honey! Some suds for you, too! Right Cosette?"

Cosette squealed delightedly, waving her arms and sending suds flying. Sadie had been afraid that the baby would hate bath time, but she seemed to love. Now the problem would be getting her out of the tub.

Prudence eventually stopped driving, cutting the engine and jumping off of the bike, a grin on her face. "Exhilarating, huh?" She said, looking over at Evander. "Nothing beats a ride on a bike in the moonlight."

Sounds like a plan, Batman =D

"Just don't ever forget it," Angie told him, kissing him back while it lasted. Afterwards, she said, "I probably shouldn't encourage you kissing me while you're driving," chuckling quietly.

Brandon wiped away the suds that had remained on his face, but let the ones that had gone into his hair stay there. "Much better. Thank you, baby," he chuckled, kissing Sadie's cheek. "And thank you, too, Cosette. I'm glad you didn't want daddy to get left out, either."

Evander hopped off of the back of the bike. He ran a hand back through his windswept hair, and just let it stay wherever it fell. And, amazingly, he looked instantly better, and younger, too. "Amazing. I was just wishing I hadn't sold mine," he smiled.

Mikey said, "You're such a bad influence on me, Angie! But, oddly enough-- and this is going to be insane on my part-- I don't even care. Being with you makes me happy, and if I act crazy-- so what?"

Cosette grinned, then squealed as Sadie rinsed her off, then started drying her with a towel with duckies on it. "Now you're nice and clean, Cosette!" Sadie then wiped the suds off of herself, then picked up Cosette, who was still in the towel, squeaking happily.

Prudence grabbed his hand and pulled him along behind her. "We've got a lot of living to do, Evander. And you've gotten a late start, so we have to jump right in. First things first, we're going to a club."

Except that, I missed you while I went to get ice cream -fail-

How was it, anyway?

Angie smiled. "I can be sensible, too, when it counts. But the rest of the time, life should be about having fun," she said. "Besides, you can't lead a normal life when surrounded by werewolves and vampires."

Brandon ran upstairs quickly, to get a new onesie for Cosette. He handed it to Sadie once he'd gotten back and smiled. "She's got that amazing clean baby smell," he noted.

Evander had thought about telling her that he hadn't always been so boring, but he felt it didn't really add anything to the conversation, so he just followed willingly behind.

BUT the trip was AWESOME! It was nice to get away from it all, if only for a while.

Mikey said, "Don't I know it! But, now that I'm as vampire, I'm really glad to be a part of it. I mean, I have forever with you, and we can do what we please, and we can live our dreams, together. Although, now that you're here, my old dreams don't even matter. Because now all my dreams involve you."

Sadie smiled and nodded, quickly nuzzling Cosette before putting her onesie on, which caused Cosette to whine loudly. "She's just amazing overall, isn't she? She's beautiful, and has a lot of personality, and she smells nice-- when she doesn't need a changing."

Prudence led him into the club, with its flashing lights and booming bass system. And just by walking in there, she got this crazy high, her adrenaline rushing, her endorphins released. "Isn't this the best?" She yelled over the music, pulling him onto the dance floor.

But, hey, it was good ice cream xDD

Yeah. I know that feeling. Just a couple of days can be enough sometimes to chill out.

Angie couldn't help but feel happy-- excited, even-- at his words. She had quite literally forever with the most amazing man she had ever met. She was, however, curious about his dreams. "Mikey, you don't have to give up your old dreams just because of me," she said. "I mean, what kind of things were you thinking of doing?"

"Well, of course she's amazing all of the time. And she doesn't even break a sweat in doing it," Brandon chuckled. In the meantime, Ysi had been creeping into the kitchen, clearly focussed on Brandon. She looked at Sadie as if to say, "Shh. Don't tell him."

Of course, Brandon already knew she was there, but he pretended to be surprised when Ysi threw her arms around his legs, emitting a "Rawr!" as she did so.

He picked her up. "Hey, you got me that time!" he chuckled.

"Sure I did, Uncle B!" the little girl exclaimed excitedly.

"It's awesome," Evander said, following her onto the floor. It was funny, the music playing wasn't anything like what he liked to listen to at home. But, in here, you couldn't help but love it.

Plus, we went to a science center in the city where I'm going to go for college. Which was cool =D

Mikey said, "They were just so centered around me, you know? And now I realize my dreams don't mean anything if you're not there with me. I had just wanted to go diving at some point, maybe own a surf shop somewhere out in California, do some music stuff. But now you're here, and a couple of my goals have changed."

Sadie grinned and said to Ysi, "If I had been Brandon, I wouldn't have known you were there!" Which was probably true, because while she was intuitive, she wasn't always observant. Cosette peeked at Ysi, sucking her thumb diligently.

Prudence said, "I love this music. It's new age, techno, rock, and 80s, all at once! You can't help but dancing along!" And so she did, obviously a dancer from the way she moved, definitely confident on the floor. And with her almost exotic looks, it wasn't a surprise that she caught attention as she moved. But she was solely focused on dancing, and making sure Evander had fun.

"Hey. We can go diving. You can have a surf shop in California, we can go there, if that's what you really want. And you can do music stuff, too. I'm not going to stop you. In fact, I'll be there with you all the way," Angie told him. "I have no preference as to where we live-- in fact, I kind of have thought about relocating for quite some time now. And certainly not to what you do with other parts of your life." She wanted him to know that his dreams were hers, too, now.

"I think I must be turning vampire, too! Only Uncle B can be quiet like that when he walks," Ysi said, apparently convinced that this was the case.

"Well, maybe you are. As soon as you stop getting older, then we'll know," Brandon told her with a quiet chuckle. "Or you could be a bit confused like Cosette. I think that's better. You can be like vampires and like humans at the same time."

Cosette squeaked happily at hearing her name, and Ysi grinned. "I think Cosette likes it that way, too, Uncle B!"

Evander seemed a little less confident in dancing than Prudence, at first, apparently somewhat self conscious. But, the more he realised that, actually, noone was really watching him, he seemed to care less.

Mikey grinned, then sped up as he realized just how close they were to the destination he had been desiring to reach. He didn't know if she would like it-- although he sincerely hoped that she would love it just as much as he did. It had always held a special place in his heart, and now it would have even more significance.

Sadie said to Ysi, "You'll have to teach Cosette how to creep as quietly as you do, sweetie! I bet she'd love to learn from you." She sat down, Cosette on her lap, so Cosette could see her cousin better. Cosette smiled, reaching out her tiny arms for Ysi.

Prudence grinned and pulled Evander close, dancing with him. "See, if you just don't care, nobody else will care, either. Besides, it's always fun to just dance through life, rather than always thinking about every single thing."

Well, you never know, there might be a hot science student there ;D In which case, if you were me or anyof my friends, you would xDDD

"I take it it's not too far now," Angie said, looking out of the window again. It was funny how she could just tell that, by the littlest things. Still, she was excited, almost impatient to see where he was taking her.

Brandon sat down as well, with Ysi in his lap. "Maybe," the little girl said. "So long as we can be good friends, I don't mind if she doesn't, though."

Brandon smiled. He knew he could count on Ysi to be loving and accepting, despite the fact that Cosette would take up a lot of the time that he usually would have spent with her. She was incredibly understanding of how important Cosette was to him and Sadie. She looked up at Brandon when Cosette reacged out to her, and he said, "You're alright, go on, honey."

Ysi reached out her hands, until Cosette could get a grip of them.

Evander smiled, dancing with her much more freely, easily now. "You know, I have no idea why I've never really gotten to know you before, Prudence," he said. You're exactly what I needed. A kick up the a**," he chuckled. "You see the world exactly as one should do."

ACTUALLY, there was!

He gave a presentation, and then was a part of another presentation. He took off his lab coat and ran on a treadmill, and then he did pushups. He was a HOTTIE.

Mikey grinned and said to her, "I'm glad you've noticed. If you don't like it, I won't mind, though. It's just somewhere I've loved to be, for a very long time. And I'm hoping that maybe we'll come to visit someday, maybe with the rest of the family... maybe with some form of a family of our own. You never know."

Cosette gripped her fingers with her hands, a grin on her face. She let out a few soft squeaks, and Sadie scooted closer, so Cosette could examine Ysi's fingers carefully. Cosette babbled happily at that, then continued her intense examination of her cousin.

Prudence grinned and said, "Well, I wouldn't say exactly but... Well, I'm pretty d*** close. Besides, when you have forever, there's plenty of time to be bitter and sad. But the way I see it, there's just as much time to be happy and have fun, and it's time better spent, too."

Sounds like the kind of presentation I would actually listen to.

Angie said, "If it's somewhere special to you, I'm sure I'll like it. Certainly appreciate it." She had to let out a quiet, sad sigh at his last comment. "That's probably a good thing to consider before you marry me, Mikey. Sadie and Brandon.. I have no idea whether you and I.. Could ever have what they do. I can't promise you that our own family is even a possibilty. I wish I could, but I just have no idea." It was hard for her to say that, it was something she didn't really like thinking about too much.

Cosette seemed pleased by the discovery of another nice person, waving her and Ysi's hands around excitedly. Ysi grinned at Sadie and Brandon, glad that Cosette seemed to like her.

"She'll look up to you all the time. Maybe when she's thinking about something, if she's sad, or maybe if she just wants to learn how to creep as well as you can," Brandon said to Ysi.

"I'll remember that. Always. I'm already having more fun than I remember in a really, really long time," Evander told her. And he was. And he knew now, that actually, it had been his wife holding him back. She had grown bitter and boring. And she'd tried to drag Evander into it, too. And it had appeared to have been working. But not anymore, he vowed.

Well, I should probably go.

It was about fitness. I tuned out the actual presentation, and just watched the hot guy.

Mikey smiled and said, to her, "Believe me, I know, Angie. And... even if we don't have what they have, there are plenty of children out there who need a good home, a home we could provide for them. But really, the ability to have our own child isn't why I'm marrying you. I'm marrying you because I love you."

Sadie said, "That would make me very happy, if Cosette thought of you as a role model." She smiled, then watched as Cosette started looking around the room, trying to understand everything just by seeing it. While her mind was still very young, it had a keen sense of curiosity and liveliness.

Prudence grinned, and as the music switched, she led him to the bar. "Let's get a couple drinks!" She lowered her voice so only he could hear. "I mean, because of what we are, we can't get drunk. But it's fun to make people think we just have an inhuman tolerance for alcohol."

That's true. Maybe I wouldn't pay attention after all xD

Angie smiled and took his hand, squeezing it. "Thanks. That means a lot to me, Mikey." And it did. After all, he had been human until only a couple of days ago. Being a vampire didn't really sink in until enough time had passed for you to realise that you weren't getting any older. And because of that, human things.. Like thinking it was easy to conceive a child, that sort of idea.. It was hard to think about a totally different prospect. So for him to so easily accept that, it made her happy.

In fact, Cosette amazed Brandon in the sense that she seemed much older, more intelligent than a baby of her age. It was hard to say whether being part vampire had this effect on her, or whether it was just a case of how she had just turned out that way.

Evander smiled, "Sure. So are we starting off with something tame or are we going straight in with neat tequila?" he chuckled.

Mikey nodded, and then stopped driving, pulling into a basically deserted parking lot. "Okay, so... this isn't it, but we have to do a little bit of walking, so..." He turned off the car, then got out and bent down. "Climb on my back, I'll get us there."

Cosette started pulling Sadie's hair, squealing with delight at how she could make the curl disappear, but then when she let go, it curled up again. Sadie laughed and said, "You'll probably have hair like mine, Cosette. Not all pretty and blonde like Ysi's."

Prudence said, "Order whatever you want! I'm going with something.... fruity!" So she ordered an appletini to start.

Good for you. I think I would have giggled the whole way through.

Angie got out of the car as well. "I was wondering when you'd first like to start using the advantages of being a vampire," she chuckled, climbing onto his back as he'd asked her to, her head on his shoulder, arms round his neck.

"Your hair is pretty, too, Sadie!" Ysi exclaimed. "It's the same colour as Uncle B's, so it has to be good."

"You tell her, Ysi," Brandon chuckled. "Dark hair is pretty, too. But I do like yours, so you know," he said, ruffling her hair gently.

Evander started with a bottle of strong beer. He remembered drinking it a lot in the sixties, and hoped it would help him to continue to get into the crazy mindset.

Mikey grinned and said, "Well... I'm doing this mainly so you won't have to end up looking messy. But, anyway... here we go!" And with that, he started running, into a field with grass that came up to his knees. He didn't seem to mind as he flew across the ground, keeping Angie close to himself.

Sadie shook her head quickly, causing Cosette to squeak happily in her form of laughter. "Well, sometimes it's hard to deal with, having super curly hair."

Prudence grinned at Evander and said, "Wow. I didn't know you were a beer drinker. I'm not a fan; the smell makes me think of being in a restroom."

Oh, did you get you hair cut, by the way?

"Excuses, excuses," Angie joked. It was nice, actually, to feel what it was like to go this fast without actually running yourself. "We should go building jumping sometime this week," she smiled.

"Well, maybe it'll be straighter, like mine," Brandon said. "Somewhere in between, maybe, though, mine is curlier than you would think, when it's longer," Brandon said. Ysi said, "I think you'd look funny with long hair, Uncle B! Don't grow it."

"Thanks. I don't feel so much like drinking it now," Evander chuckled, rolling his eyes. "I think it's more favoured by men, honestly. I like it. I used to drink a lot of it, actually."

No. I've been so busy, it's been the last thing on my mind. xD

Mikey said, "Building jumping? That sounds awesome! I'm definitely up for it, but I want it to wait until after we get together with the family and let them know about what's happened to me... and us." He grinned, then stopped running, arriving at a large lake, in the middle of the field. It almost seemed to go on forever, a lake of deepest blue, matching the night sky.

Sadie said, "Please don't grow it, Brandon. I don't want to have to compete with you about who has better hair." She laughed, then bounced Cosette on her lap, which caused the baby to clap her hands together wildly.

Prudence said, "What is it about beer that men find so appealing?" She rolled her eyes and laughed, then sipped from her appletini. "Maybe my tastes are just more refined than yours," she joked, nudging him with her elbow.
