I've never been to one before :)

"Well, I did have a boyfriend for some time when I'd just met you. And then after that.. I don't know, I was just too afraid to ask," Angie said. She smiled softly at him, "I've felt happier in these past couple of days with you than I have my whole life, Mikey. I want you to know that. And there's nothing about it that I would change, either."

Brandon continued to watch Sadie with Cosette, without saying a word, smiling softly. He had always loved children, which is why Ysi had kept him going through one of the lowest points of his life. He'd assumed that she would be the closest thing to his own child that he would ever had. He hadn't thought that he'd either ever get that far with a human girl, or that it was even possible at all. But now he had a daughter, and who knew, maybe she was only the first of at least a couple. To finally have a child, and a woman who he loved dearly meant more to him than anybody could ever understand.

"Well, I can't deny my belief in the principle, or Angie's ability. Chances are, I've already met her, hundreds of years ago, and therefore lost forever. Still, I probably deserve it. The way I ses it, I shouldn't be here at all."

They're just so romantic, and receptions are always a blast!

Mikey grinned and said, "Darn straight, babe!" He leaned over and kissed her recklessly, then focused his attention back on the road. "If your ex ever comes by, though, I'll tear him to pieces. I'm easily jealous."

Sadie smiled up at him, resting Cosette on her shoulder. "Say hi to daddy, princess!"

Cosette squeaked, a smile forming when she laid her eyes upon Brandon. "That's right," Sadie said. "Isn't he just the best?"

Prudence said, "Evander, you really don't deserve what's happened to you. Now me... well, that's another story. I've led a pretty rough life, until more recent years. I just started smoking again, and I'd quit since the 50s."

I'll bet. I'm really excited. I think half the talk on Facebook after it will be about the fact that I was wearing a dress. It's a special occasion all around, in which case xD

She had to take a minute, to breathe (well, in a vampire sense) and relax again before she could answer him, after that kiss. In fact, he made her dizzy a lot of the time. She chuckled breathlessly, "You, probably could if you tried. But he won't come back. I told him I never wanted to see him again after we broke up, and he wasn't disagreeing at the time."

Brandon smiled widely now, which only caused Cosette to do the same. "I'm glad you think so. I try, you know," he said to her chuckling. "Your Mum is the best, too. Don't you forget that. And if you're lucky, you'll turn out just like her."

"I never quit smoking for more than an amount of time that could be considered being clean," Evander said, taking a last drag on his cigarette, exhaling very slowly as if savouring the moment, before stubbing it out and tossing it aside. And as for the rest of my life.. Well, it hasn't always been lived in a beautiful house like this one, or with friends or family. I'm too old to be alive. I wish I'd been lucky enough to die at about ninety like the average everyday person does."

You'll have to post pictures!!!!!

Mikey said, "If he changes his mind, he'll be dead. Just warning you!" He laughed, then turned onto a different road, heading to the north at this point. He couldn't wait to show her where they were going.

Sadie patted Cosette's back, causing her to hiccup, but she seemed completely happy.

"You're just the cutest baby, aren't you?" Sadie asked Cosette, while placing the baby in Brandon's arms.

Prudence laughed and said to him, "At least you still look hot for your age! Besides, being alive forever does have its perks. Like being able to see all the changes in the world, and to have all the time you want to do the things you've always dreamed of."

Yup. It's not until October, though.

Angie giggled. "Even if he did, I don't think you have any reason to be jealous. If I liked him more than I liked you, I-- one, wouln't be marrying you and, two, probably would still be with him." She squeezed his hand again. "But if jealous makes you kiss me like that again, I might have to arrange it," she laughed, smirking slightly.

Brandon kissed the top of Cosette's head very gently. "You are." The little girl squeaked looking up at him, looking as if to say, 'Who? Me? No!'

"You are," he repeated. "Don't you deny it. There never has been a cuter baby than you. Just wait 'till we take you out-- we'll be lucky if we still have you by the time we get home."

"I know. I do appreciate those things. Just not right now. The reflection of the perks of living forever reminded me of my first thought when I met my ex wife, that I could spend my forever with the one I really loved," Evander said. "Still, it could be worse. I could be a werewolf as well as divorced."

Lots of practice time, then! =D

Mikey said, "If I get too jealous, I'm going to have to pull over on the side of the road and do a lot more than kiss you!" He moved a hand to rub her leg provocatively, then put it back on the steering wheel.

Sadie said, "Oh believe me, we will still have her by the time we get home. I'm like a momma bear, and anyone who gets too close will get pummeled. Never make a mom angry."

Prudence had to laugh at that. "Man, when you put it that way, us and our messed up lives actually seem to be pretty awesome." She dropped her cigarette and put it out with her foot, then smiled up at Evander. And after that, she didn't say anything else.

Yeah, definitely.

I'll need it if I have to play Canon on the acoustic guitar. It's a hard arrangement.

If I play the piano I'll either play 'I giorni' or 'Le onde' by Ludovico Einaudi. He's definitely one of my favourite composers, particularly because he's writing stuff now, as opposed to composers who were famous after they died.

"Oh no. Well, we can't possibly do that. I don't think I'd be able to at all," Angie snickered. "Besides, you can't see what's under the skirt again until after you've married me, remember? There's something there for you. The way back, maybe," she laughed.

"That's a good point," Brandon nodded, laughing. He looked at Cosette. "You're in safe hands. Don't worry," he told her, smiling. At which point, Cosette squeaked happily, and reached up to touch his cheek.

"I had respect for them until they did what they did-- or, rather tried to do-- to Sadie and Brandon. And now, I have none for them." Evander sighed and looked up at the sky for a moment, and then at Prudence, when he realised she was looking at him. "Still, it could be worse. I could be talking to someone who has absolutely no idea what it's like to be where I am. But you understand."

Sorry, guests came over =)

I <3 pachelbel canon.

Mikey sighed in mock frustration, rolling his eyes dramatically. "Angie, you're killing me!" He exclaimed obnoxiously. "It's just not fair, darling! But... but... fine, okay then." He laughed, ruffling her hair.

Sadie giggled, going to the room to get her camera. She came over and took a couple pictures of them together. "You two are so adorable together!" She squealed, causing Cosette to squeal happily as well.

Prudence nodded, still smiling, although it had softened. "Yeah. We have an understanding, in a weird sort of way. Although... at least with your wife, you had something... me and Rita just had a physical attraction thing going on. Heh. It's funny, though, I'd never do more than kiss her. Something stopped me every time."

That's alright. I was so tired anyway, I just went to bed xD

"Don't worry. I promise that anytime after that is just fine. You'll just have to be patient," Angie chuckled. She ran her fingers through her after him having ruffled it-- not that she minded him doing it at all.

Brandon smiled effortlessly as Sadie took pictures of the two of them, also kissing the baby's cheek for one of them. Being photogenic obviously came with being good looking. He got Sadie to come and stand with them as well, holding the camera at arm's length to fit all three of them. "It's better with all of us," he said, giving the camera back to Sadie.

"At least, I suppose, that something did stop you. I mean, I don't really think I ever could go further than that if I didn't love someone. It wouldn't feel right to me," Evander said thoughtfully.

xD

Argh, I want to get my hair cut, but I'm super lost!

Mikey grinned and told her, "Good. And you'd better believe I'm taking advantage of that. Because I love you, more than anything." He kept his eyes on the road now, as they were going into less populated areas. He didn't want to make a wrong turn.

Sadie smiled and looked through the pictures happily. "They look great!" She told him, putting the camera down to take Cosette into her arms. "Of course, Cosette, you're the star of all the pictures. You little show stealer." She kissed her nose, while Cosette squeaked happily about getting attention.

Prudence shrugged and said, "For me, it was just a dignity thing. If we did anything more than kiss, I'd feel obligated to stay with her, even if i was unhappy. Which, later on, I was. That's part of why I came here so much, to get away from that relationship."

Did you have anything at all in mind?

Angie replied, "And the more you take advantage of that, the happier I'll be," she smiled. "I love you, too. Just as much, I'm sure." She then looked out of the window. she had absolutely no idea where ther were. But then, that was Mikey's intention, anyway.

Brandon had a quick flick through the pictures, smiling at every one of them. "You will be all your life, little one. Bur that only makes for an extra protective Dad," he chuckled.

"Oh yes, of course. I forgot you weren't into the whole love thing," Evander replied. "That's a fair enough point I suppose. I actually feel ashamed for this divorce for pretty much the same reasons. You are obliged to stay together, though everything, in marriage.."

I'm keeping it longer, with layers. But I'm clueless about bangs

Mikey started whistling along to the music that blasted from the sound system. He seemed to like older music, especially music from the 60s and 70s. He played a wide variety of styles and artists.

Sadie cuddled Cosette close and said, "I think it's bath time for baby!" She headed downstairs to the kitchen, picking up her camera on the way. "I'm going to capture every moment!" She said happily. "That way, when she's older, we'll have something to embarrass her with."

Prudence said, "Marriage is just an institution, in my opinion. I think everyone would be better off being free-- well, except in special cases, like with Brandon and Sadie. They act married, but they aren't. Hm. But at least you're free now."

Can't help you there. Particularly with curly hair, since mine isn't even wavy xD

Angie listened to his whistling quietly, smiling to herself. Mikey was so different to most of the other guy's she'd every been out with. He was laid back, free spirited, everything that she valued herself to be, too. She commented on the kind of music he listened to, "Brandon's seen or even supported a whole lot of the bands before, you know. He took me to quite a few concerts, actually. So I guess Sadie would be pretty jealous if he's told her. He met the Beatles once, you know."

Brandon went back through to their room to pick up a pair of trousers before heading downstairs and into the kitchen. He said to Cosette, "Uh oh. Now's the time to run if ever there was one, princess. You'll thank me for it in years to come." He chuckled.

"Free to do what, though, I don't really know. I don't really care anymore about anything that married life held me back from. Still, as much as I hate the idea of ending marriage, I'll be eternally happy if I never have to see my witch of an ex wife ever again," Evander chuckled humourlessly.

I wish my hair was straight, not in between xD

"Oh believe me, he's told her," Mikey said, chuckling. "She went on and on about his meeting with the Beatles for over an hour. And that was when she was talking about the Beatles alone. She's very jealous of him, and wished she'd been born about60 years earlier, just to see the musicians."

Cosette just sucked her thumb, then screeched as Sadie removed Cosette's jammies and put her down in the little baby tub they had set up in the sink. But then she was happy as Sadie filled the tub slightly, and she waved her little arms in the water, excited. Sadie then started washing her off, singing happily.

Prudence said, "Right after I broke up with Rita, I went to Paris for a week. It was actually the most fun I've ever had. I was free to run around at any time I wanted, I could dance with everyone if I felt like it, I saw what I wanted, when I wanted."

Believe me, if your hair was straight, you'd wish it was anything but that xD

"I admit, there aren't bands like them any more. People don't know what good music is, and the price of concert tickets and everything is so ridiculous. We used to have so much fun at festivals, but now it's all so sedate. I think I'm very fortunate to have lived through the sixties and such," Angie said. "But, hey, I've met a lot of famous people, too. Went out with way too many, on top of that," she laughed.

"While you're busy there, can I be of use.. Maybe you're hungry or something?" Brandon asked, leaning against the counter. He figured trying to help with a job that only really took one person only made it more difficult.

"It's funny, you know. I'm not physically old, but I know people treat me like the older, sensible man who has no fun. And I think they're probably right. I findbit difficult to.. Let go, and have a good time, so to speak," Evander said. He had to chuckle-- he did seem like a rather boring personality at times.

xD Hair wars?

Believe me, wavy hair can get SUPER annoying at times.

Mikey raised an eyebrow, jealousy kicking in a bit. "Oh, really?" He asked, trying to sound completely cool with it. "Like who, darling?" He glanced over, but then went back to focusing on the road. No crashing allowed, was what he told himself.

Sadie said, "Can you take pictures?" She giggled and added, "I know, I probably seem really stupid, but I want to savor every memory before she grows up. Childhood is so short, after all." She continued washing Cosette, who occasionally tried to put soap in her mouth.

Prudence grinned, grabbing his wrist and pulling him to his feet. "I used to be the same way: all work, no play. But once I changed and just let loose a bit, I realized how amazing life is. Never ending life, of course. Now come on, we're going out on the town!" She led him towards her motorcycle, grinning from ear to ear.

I'm sure it can, but at least it's never boring. Like, this morning, washed it and left it, and now it looks so flat and horrible.

Angie looked at him and said, "Mikey, you don't have to be jealous of any guy that's ever been out with me. It doesn't matter who they are or how much money they had or how good looking they were, because I didn't love any of them. But I love you, for everything that you are." She stroked his arm nearest to her affectionately. "And if you're still worried, I never went further with any of them than kissing."

"Well, fair enough," Brandon said, picking up the camera. "Just a word of advice, don't get too caught up on catching every single moment on camera. You'll miss something with your eyes instead, and the most important and best memories come from here--" he tapped the side of his head as a gesture. "But I'll get some pictures now, definitely."

Evander, though not really sure what to expect, seemed eager to get out and do something, particularly with someone else alongside him. Things were always better when you weren't alone. "I used to have a motorcycle," he said, sort of thinking aloud more than anything.

Dx I like your hair, though!!!

Mikey said, "I can't help it. I mean... all I really have at this point are my good looks, and I used to live without those, too. I don't have much money, I don't have any real talents. I'm surprised you'd even look at a guy like me."

Sadie laughed, then took Cosette's hand from her mouth. "No no honey, we don't put soap in our mouths," she said softly, smiling. She kept washing Cosette's skin, then moved and started washing her hair, creating a little hat of shampoo suds.

Prudence hopped on, then scooted forward so Evander could sit behind her. "I never would have guessed," she said to him, smiling. "You seem to be full of surprises, Evander. Now hurry up, while the night is still young."

Haha, well, thank you =D

I'll like it again when I get it cut next week. The layers all just grow out so fast, it's really annoying.

Angie told him, "Money or talent has nothing to do with who I should or shouldn't want to be with. At the end of the day, you give me everything I could ever want. Men whose egos are bigger than they ought to be can't understand why having a man with lots of money doesn't usually make a girl who's serious about love happy. You could have nothing at all, you could have nowhere to live, and not a penny in the bank, but I wouldn't care. I promise you. I love you, Mikey, for everything thst you are, what you have makes no difference to the fact that I've always been crazy about you."

Brandon was smiling from ear to ear at the little girl, utterly fascinated by the bubbles floating from the tub, and on her head. He took a great picture of her, just reaching out to pop a bubble, while the suds from the shampoo still sat on her head, a huge grin across Cosette's face.

"I think most people knew how to have a good time in the sixties and seventies. I was no exception," he chuckled, sitting behind her on the bike. Whan she started it, he held onto her waist, not that he was likely to fall off, in any case.

I see!

I really though it was pretty right after you got it cut last time.

Mikey smiled slightly and said, "But I'm not the kind of guy girls usually are interested in. I'm somewhat a dead beat, I'm not a respectable type of guy. I'm really surprised, that you still want me, especially compared to other guys you've probably met."

Sadie giggled and said, "You cutie pie!" She tickled Cosette's stomach, then leaned down and kissed it playfully, causing Cosette to screech with delight, wriggling and getting suds all over Sadie's hair. Sadie laughed and said, "Now we're both soapy girls, huh."

Prudence sped off into the night, heading to the most urban area of the city, excited for a night out on the town. She loved the nightlife, she loved partying, and she loved introducing people to a life of fun. She knew how it felt to be completely bummed, and she would have loved to have a friend to introduce her to fun.
